Battery doesn’t last long at all! Not a good resource for video. It’s also hard to connect as well.

the camera itself is actually pretty decent. can see very well. app was complicated and not real clear on how to use. once i got it figured out i was satisfied. first day i set it up with a full charge the battery lasted about 3 hours. that’s not useful at all. the. i hooked a battery pack to it. and the red charging light stays on. makes it not real hidden that way. so as a camera to just set up and use to see the world. it’s alright. if you need it hidden not near power. save your money.

I already have several home security cameras but saw this offered and thought I would give it a try. The advertisement says "mini spy hidden camera" and "small nanny cam portable indoor secret tiny video security camera". Realistically I would simply catagorize the camera as a small, moveable, smart, indoor security camera (needing wifi where its located) to work. Now it is small....and you could hide/conceal it to spy on someone.......or as a nanny cam, but you would have to camoflage it some to avoid detection but you could do it. But it is small. The camera block (excluding the mounting appendage) is just under 1-3/8" H x 1-3/8" W x 1-3/8" D in dimension.The device has its own rechargeable battery with OK battery longevity for its small size. I think it might last 2-3 hours of continuous recording based on the battery status "rate of burn" displayed on my smart phone. However, the camera can be plugged into a power adapter using the provided USB A to Micro USB power cord. You won't have to worry about the battery using the power cord.Now where I was the most impressed was accessing the camera through my smart phone. I found the instructions adequate and set up was simple. I didn't have any problems setting up or connecting the camera to my phone app (available online) through our wifi. After getting the camera set up and working I was very impressed with the camera view, definition, and recording capabilities. I think this camera has better image quality/ability than my other cameras. The camera did not come with a Micro SD card so I installed one so that I could replay recorded images. The phone app does allow you to purchase cloud capability at a very minimal cost but I opted to use just a memory card and it seems to be working fine. For the comparative price point offered I think this little camera works pretty darn good and it will supplement the camera system I am already using.
