This little portable washing machine has been very handy for rinsing out washable, absorbent underwear for incontinence. I put them in and let them wash and soak in small batches to help get rid of the odor, prior to washing them all together in a regular machine. I have not had any success with the "dehydrate" spinning basket, as the basket will not stay seated. For my purposes, I just wring out the items the best I can.

Bought one for myself and one for my sister, but both have problem to retain water we put in. Even before we turn on the power, the water already started to drain out continuously. No way to start the washing cycle with water draining out. I am returning one and have seller replace a new one to send me. I will try it one more time. But my sister said just return hers. She doesn't want to try again. Very disappointed. Mini washing machine is a very good idea, unfortunately not working properly.

There is a small plate with small fins that spins back and forth at the bottom of the machine. You have three setting: slow for 5 mins, slow for 10 mins, or dehydrate which spins faster, but even with only two socks it spins so bad the machine turns over. My suggestion is to go buy a 5 gallon bucket and a stick, it will do a better job.

Overall, not happy with my purchase. There was a tiny, loose piece that fell out when setting up the washer. I have no idea where that loose piece belongs. Also, the TPE material is peeling off in one area. I only used the washer twice to wash under garments. Machine washed okay. The spin function is poorly made. There was a rumbling noise that scared me. The baskets kept coming off or my clothes spun out of the basket. It’s been useless - have to hand ring your clothes.Contacted seller who answered promptly but wasn’t of much help. They did not stand behind their product and told me to contact Amazon for a replacement. You also might note that their warranty is very misleading. I specifically chose this item because of not only the product itself but because it had a warranty. Now, I’m in a dilemma. Returning the item isn’t possible for me at this time. And, if the peeling in the washer drum gets worse - it’s not covered by their warranty. I’m really disappointed with my purchase. Spent money on something with defects.

Not to be confused in any way with what we think of when we think about an actual washer and dryer, this handy little machine acts as an emergency clothing cleaner when in a jam and utilizing actual washers and dryers is not an option. With the ability to be compressed down into a legitimately portable size complete with its own carrying handle, this is convenient, energy saving, and again a lifesaver in emergencies- and won't disappoint you, as long as you don't plan to do large loads of laundry (or medium loads either actually) and so long as the articles bring washed are not stained too badly (the cycles are too short and the agitation of the machine is not powerful enough to remove tough stains, depending on level of pretreatment). To be honest though I'm not entirely 100% certain that I'm using the washer in the exact right manner, as there were no instructions for using this. There was an insert regarding expanding and contracting the accordion rubber of the machine, and the amount of times a button is pressed to get to a specific cycle. Hiwever, there was no information regarding adding water (directly or through one of the two included tubes? Or the drainage of said water when the cycle is complete? How dry are the items supposed to be able to reasonably and how many drying cycles will that take? Etc). So I sort of just guessed on a lot of it, and could be dong it incorrectly, so a more thorough manual of instructions is HIGHLY recommended. All in all this thing is great though, even just the novelty of having a portable washer and dryer; youll be the only one of your friends who does I can nearly guarantee it
