These work really good. For the times you don't was long heavy mitts for light baking. I have used these different times and I really like them. They protect your hands very well when you don't need the longer oven mitts they are quite thick and have grips on the inner side of the mitts to help with items from slipping in your hands.

Nice, thick, heat doesn't go through. Pretty blue. What more can you ask for in an oven mitt?

In my experience with Mini Oven Mitts, I think these are a superior design. It has lines of silicone for grip (like the dimpled silicone grip of work gloves), instead of the more common full silicone grip which in my experience cracks & flakes off over time -- often onto the food and/or the pan or pot.
