I had a rather nice Hibachi grill, but it was damaged during our last move. I was set to find a replacement -and after searching for a bit, I came across this one made by IRONMAX store. Based on the details provided by the seller and the visual presentation of the grill- I decided that this would be the best viable option. Therefore, I ordered this and now that I have this home and have had the opportunity to try this out- I must say that this has exceeded my expectations in many ways. This is a solid grill made with premium grade material. Below, I will list some of the features that helped influence me to choose this one over the others I considered.*Special features that are worthy of mentioning:-Portable Hibachi Grill-Cast Iron - premium grade material - known for long lasting usability-Grill grate: 11 x 6.7" (this is a grill that will work best for 1-2 persons)-Dimensions for your reference: 7"D x 14.0" x 5.2"H-Charcoal is the fuel for the grillAll in all, I find that the engineer of this Hibachi Grill did an outstanding job. We used this the other night, and the steaks were amazing. This is a great value and based on a very positive experience - I would recommend this to other consumers. I do appreciate your time reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. :)

I wanted this small hibachi grill for car camping and to use at the cabin to grill smaller meals vs. using the large grill. It does not take much charcoal, plus remains hotter longer, than most other grills, due to the cast irons properties. I choose to use clean burning natural lump charcoal or organic natural premium hardwood charcoal, with fire starters to ignite it. This is a much healthier way to grill foods and they taste really amazing. Also, before using this grill, make sure to set the grill on a hard fireproof surface such as bricks, concrete, or even a couple 12" or larger ceramic tiles. It does radiate heat so keep that in mind! Safety is key to prevent mishaps.Another wonderful attribute about this grill is that it will not blow over in the wind, like lighter ones do. And because it retains hot heat, it burns off the residuals of the foods cooked on it. Then once it cools down, simply re-season it with a light coating of oil of choice to protect it, like typical cast iron requires. Myself, I prefer using coconut oil due to its antibacterial properties and it does not become rancid.I also think it's smart to cover this grill and store it indoors in a dry area to increase its longevity. A cover also prevents dust from sticking to its oiled surface so it's ready to go for your next cookout. Lastly, It also comes with a 1-year warranty and free returns. I love the small size and believe many people would be happy with this hibachi grill.

Wanted a small grill for camping and thought I’d give this one a try. The grill is small but dig enough for 2-3 people like I’m going to use it for. With the grill being cast iron it is quite heavy but I knew that when I got it. Because it is cast iron, the great should get better over time as it is “seasoned”. Cast iron does need to be cared for as it may rust if it is exposed to water etc. All in all it is a nice, heavy, grill. Because of the weight I may not use it as often as I would something a little lighter.

This little hibachi grill is just perfect if you only have 1 or 2 people to cook for and don't want to fire up a large grill. This saves on charcoal and cleanup from using a large grill.I was afraid when I ordered this that it would be cheap quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is quite good quality for the price. It may or may not be good enough to last a lifetime, but I feel like it should last for many years of use, if well cared for.Speaking of care, this is cast iron, so it will require some care and maintenance. You don't want to leave this where there is a lot of moisture, as it will certainly rust, and you definitely don't want to leave it outside where it might get rained on, when not in use.The grill does require some very minor assembly, but it doesn't require any special tools and can be assembled in just a few minutes.Care for the grill is pretty much what you would do for a cast iron skillet. Cast iron needs to be seasoned for best results, but this comes preseasoned from the factory, so you can skip that step, if you like. I would also coat the whole grill in cooking oil, using a paper towel, if it were to be stored for a long period of time, such as through the winter months, in order to prevent rusting.Overall, I'm really impressed with this little grill. When I first got it, I thought it would only be useful for camping or emergencies, but now I think I will find it useful for more than just that. I would say that it's a pretty good buy at its current asking price of $49.99, but it would be even better if it ever goes on sale.
