Upping my coffee game, starting with better roasts and the V60 (which is awesome BTW) and needed a scale. I’m that person who would spend 200 bucks on a scale. But I just couldn’t do it. So I got this. And it’s perfectly fine. Easy to 0, seems accurate, and a timer. Size is perfect (will easily fit under my future Espresso machine, one step at a time) and seems well built. See how durable it is over time but my impression is I just saved 50-150 bucks getting sucked into the really expensive scales.

I use this scale daily to measure coffee. It is very accurate. I also love the timer and I have been very surprised at the battery life. I have had it for over 6 months and I have only had to recharge it one time. Dont hesitate to buy

Schaut super schick aus und funktioniert einwandfrei. Nur dass die Akkuanzeige immer voll anzeigt und dann zu blinken beginnt, wenn der Akku leer wird stört mich etwas. Egal trotzdem 5 Sterne

Got it at Christmas time for £30ish. Brilliant value for a high quality, accurate device. Sleep design. Nice and compact for making good coffee at home.For the coffee nerds who are interested: The auto timer is good for espresso, but when doing a V60, sometimes it auto-stops too early if there's a break in the water flow. I just hit the timer button for v60s instead.It also would have been good if it had come with a silicone bung for the charging port to keep it waterproof, but we purchased a multi-pack separately for a few pounds.

Everything works well, and the readout is quick and responsive.1. The manual clearly describes how to shut off the beep, and once you do that, the setting persists.2. The readout of the weight responds quickly. It does not have the lag of most inexpensive scales.3. The capacitive controls are very responsive.4. The timer button lets you start and stop and continue the timer easily. You double tap to reset it.5. The scale feels sturdy and the silicon mat is thick.6. The matte surface on the scale makes it very resistant to scratches.It is big enough to hold a coffee cup for a pourover and still have the readout clearly visible. However, a carafe larger than a standard coffee cup might be too large.I have not tried any of the auto features.Overall, it's excellent and works well with no annoyances. It's also small, light, and easy to clean.

I like its small size, and weight sensitivity. It's a bit wonky when trying to set the tare to zero, as I usually end up shutting it off. This is because the tare reset and on/off function are on the same button and respond to either a short duration press (tare reset) or long duration press (on/off). Thing is, the short duration press frequently doesn't respond to my touch.The scale can be used to measure oz./ml/grams. I've never really understood why anyone bothers to put milliliters on a scale since it's a measure of volume not weight, and the readings are identical!The stand-alone timer function works okay, but the timer/volume function (generally for use during espresso shots) I found just about impossible to use, so I don't. I'd always end up resetting it accidentally, or the timer would start before I intended it to. I'm not saying it won't work, I'm saying it's not worth my struggle. Additionally the unit is supplied with a silicon pad to lay over the top of the scale which is suggested for use as a heat insulator. Although it's only about ⅛" (3 mm) thick, it adds to the overall height of the unit when measuring espresso shots. I measured the total height with the silicon pad in place at just tad over 13/16" (I'll say .820 or just about 21 mm).So in the end I find it to be:Reasonably pricedDecent qualityUseful for weighing coffeeUseful for timing and measuring coffee pour oversUseful manual timerBuilt-in battery charges quickly and lasts between chargesEasy to read digital readoutAppears to be sealed well from dirt and moisture (though I wouldn't ever submerse it)I'd buy it again, but look for a unit with a little less height and a bit more usability for timing/measuring espresso shots. Thing is that might set you back several times more than what this unit costs.

TLDR: Buy it. It works well, it has impressive and useful features, it looks great, it’s thin/low-profile, and it’s a great price.Detailed review: I’m very happy with this scale, and it has certainly upped my espresso game by leaps and bounds. I’m able to weigh my beans very precisely down to a tenth of a gram (roughly the weight of a single bean), so my dosing is on point. Also, it fits beneath the portafilter with room to spare for my cup, so I can weigh my shots and accurately measure my input/output ratio. And automatic mode is magic! When the espresso hits the cup, the timer starts running, so I can measure flow rate along with everything else! Overall, super easy to use and very necessary for the at-home barista.One caveat: It acted weird on the 2nd or 3rd day, and I thought I was going to have to return it. The weight would slowly creep up even though I wasn’t adding any coffee. I dusted it off, made sure it was dry, set it on a more stable surface… I still don’t know what the matter was, but it stopped freaking out and it hasn’t really given me any trouble since. Also, I should mention that the automatic function doesn’t always work 100% perfectly; it works, and usually works quite well, but depending on the flow rate, you might get some drops dribbling into the cup and the timer not detect it right away. (I think the timer must be activated according to some sort of algorithm that looks for a certain increase in a certain amount of time, so a slower initial drip rate might not trigger it at first.) Also weirdly, it seems like about half of the time when the weight stops increasing (i.e., espresso stops flowing) , the timer pauses (as I think it’s supposed to do), but other times, the timer keeps running until you manually stop it. I don’t know… It’s a weird glitch, I guess, but it doesn’t really make any difference. The weight is accurate, and that’s the primary thing to keep an eye on.So, is it perfect? No, I guess not. But, it works extremely well and functions perfectly for my purposes. In fact, it’s a lot nicer and fancier than I expected – plus, it’s more affordable and more streamlined than its obvious rival the Acacia.

My previous scale always gave me problems when trying to charge. Sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn't. It was infuriating! This one works 100%. Very accurate, quick charging, nice readout display.

Such an amazing addition for your espresso making experience! Great design, compact, well built. Super easy to use. Amazing (dare I say, essential) for an optimal and consistent espresso experience. Precise to the 10th of a gram. Simply love the auto timer + weight feature (both start as soon as your shot beging to poor). 10/10
