I hesitate to give 5* to anything solar these days until I know it doesn't die after a year. Why solar cells seem to crap out that fast I don't know. But so far this thing is solid. It provides good charge, it's a solid build, no issues with quality. Now, it's no powerhouse of course, and you shouldn't expect that from something with an old USB-A connector. I used it to power a rechargeable fan and it ran all day on high when a charge lasts about an hour so not bad!

Bought two of these solar panels and they work like crap. Got them for camping. So we could charge our cell phones. Did not charge anything I would not recommend getting them. It's a waste of money.

I love it. It does exactly what it's advertised to do. I set it up and was able to instantly start charging my phone.

When I tested this miniature solar panel, I made sure it was super bright noon day sunshine and used known verifiable test equipment. ( I could have pulled out much more impressive meters, but I know these testers are accurate, and very convenient for this test)My best results were 3.34 watts output with a load.I used a USB fan, a Lenovo 11" tablet, and 10" Amazon Fire HD tablet as loads. The most they would pull at 5.1 volts indicated was .64 amps.Using a genuine 1 amp 5V load, the voltage indicated dropped to 3.8V DC at .806 amps. This panel was extremely sensitive to aiming, and by merely moving my hand over the panel at a distance of 12 inches it would effectively "shut down" and show no output. It did manage to run the USB fan at a reasonable speed, and I guess you could eventually charge a small device, but it's output is extremely small.
