Absolutely love these, they are a bit long but they are made to be cut to your lenght. Very good quality. There is not much more I can say then I am 100% satisfied with these and do not regret buying them. They are the perfect size for me but they are a bit too long but the bottom part is clearly made to be cut to length. Don't be mad if they are long it should be expected.

I wore them from Dubuque Iowa to Harrison Arkansas (9 hours) in 83 degrees and I was not nearly as hot as I thought I was going to be.... And I did NOT open the vents. I really like them. I don't think I'll wear them daily but I'll certainly wear them on long trips. Mine ran a bit long so I trimmed an inch and a half off..... Perfect now. I highly recommend them.

I love the stretch section. When you sit it loosens up so you're free to move the whole ride. Also love the pockets on each side. I wish the belt had more holes and a double clasp. But over all an A+ buy.

Used the size guide to measure and fit perfectly. Raw edge on the leg is perfect for cutting to length. These are heavy but have vents so are comfortable. Have not used for very long but like them thus far.

These are exceptional. I bought a set for my husband. The quality is so good that I bought a pair for myself. They are heavy duty. Also I like the waistband. It doesn't have the criss crossed tied together with a strand of leather system. This is much better.

I got the mediums and they were just a touch loose over jeans but were just right with a Under Armour long underwear on. Length fine after I used a pair of Westcott Titanium scissors to easily cut them to the right riding length. I'm 5'10" 35 waist 32 inseam 210 pounds. Nice pockets, belt plenty long, zip up legs are smooth and easy. I can drop to a knee to work/clean the Harley (NOT my wife's job!) and not stretch the knee out and still get back up. They roll up nice to keep in the bags when it cools off spring and fall. Absolutely glad I got these!

I loved these chaps so much that I actually own 2 pairs. The first pair I purchased where size large, which is the size I normally buy these kind of items. The larges were much too big for me. I recommend buying 2 sizes below what you think you need. As a 5'10" man who weighs 150lbs., I wear a size XS in these chaps. On both of my chaps, the old and new, the seems at the bottom are too weak an come undone after a few rides. This necessitates having the stitching reinforced later on, adding more money onto an already pricey purchase. The chaps all come in the same length, requiring the owner to cut them to the appropriate length. There is one reinforcing stich on the bottom of the chaps where you could cut below without the rest of the stitching coming undone, but even as a 5'10" tall person, I had to cut above the built in reinforcement stitch. If I could add something to these chaps, it would be several reinforcement stitches going up the side seams to allow more length customization options without having to take them to a leather worker. These chaps have a plastic reflective strip that goes up the side, with no leather behind the plastic, possibly compromising the protection between your leg and the road during a fall. I imagine the portion of the leg below the reflective strip (small as it may be) would tear off in a sliding fall. The reflective material should be stitched on top of the leather, not replacing it. Furthermore, if your bike exhaust runs hot, it will melt the reflective material and plastic stitching attaching it to the leather. For the leather that is present, it is high quality and very thick at about 1/4 inch thickness throughout. There is no synthetic leather on this item, besides the minimal plastic reflective material on the bottom portion of the legs. Many high-priced chaps, and low-priced off-brands, have very thin leather that could easily be torn with the hand. Those cheap quality versions (even including some Harley-Davidson brand chaps) are more for looks than serving as an effective barrier between your skin and the road during a fall and slide. Needless to say, despite the above quirks, these chaps WILL do their job they should be designed for; they serve as an effective second skin during riding.

Much better quality than I expected with four pockets and zippered vents.

Very nice, heavy leather. The pockets and air vents are great to have. I purchased an XL based on the reviews, but they're too big. I wear a 32x32 with 25 inch thighs. They're a bit long and loose everywhere, especially the waist. I'd say the XL would be perfect for someone that wears 38x34 with a 27 in thigh.
