Had to return. Excellent product, just too small in the thigh area. Not sure why they can’t increase the thigh diameter as they go up in waist size. 🤷♂️

The chaps seem well made with very soft leather, yet the leather is thick enough to be heavy and likely will provide good protection in case of a get off. Stitching and buckle seem good quality.On the sizing, follow their instructions and sizing chart where they say to measure with your riding clothes on. I did, but was spooked with all the reviews saying they run small so I ordered a medium even though the chart showed my size as small with jeans on under the chaps. The medium arrived and was way too big. To its credit, Amazon quickly accepted the return and I ordered the small which fit perfectly. For comparison, I’m 5’5” and I weigh 150 pounds. My wife trimmed off about 3” off the bottom and they are a perfect fit. Don’t let the sizing reviews scare you; these are great chaps at a great price.

The chaps I ordered were EXTREMELY well made and of superior quality. The leather was think and soft. I did however find that the chaps were just too tight around my thighs and I was forced to return the item. I will be looking for them to get a 5X in stock so I can reorder, as they are currently out of this size. I WILL REORDER THOUGH! A great piece of gear...

The leather is high quality, the liners keep you warm but the belt on side opposite the buckle side was not stitched well, popped out on the first ride in the first day of a 4 day trip. I bought a staple gun and stapled it back together; I’d have been Very uncomfortable without them. Too bad too because the overall rating would have been 5 stars. I’ll take them to a shoe repair and try to have them fixed.

As many others stated order a size larger. I normally wear a 40x32 jeans ordered a 2xl waist has plenty of room but thigh is snug. Material seems to be good quality

The leather chaps were better than I expected. The leather was supple but thick enough. The fit was as expected. Good for long legs with some room to hem or trim. I usually wear a 34" leg and I'll probably trim a bit off the length of the chaps.

These are very high quality leather, very comfortable and the Thinsulate makes them so warm! The zippers are very heavy duty on both the pockets and the sides of the legs. I bought these for a costume, but I can't believe how great the quality is for the price. I'm sure that depends on seller and the size you buy, I got XS, and they are a bit long, so I'll have to have some of the bottom cut off. This should be no problem as there are around 10 inches before the zipper begins on the bottom of the leg. I'll have to think of reasons to wear chaps outside of costume season!
