This is a fantastic stapler and addition to Milwaukee's M12 tool lineup. It is powerful and thoughtfully designed. Initially, I used it to drive 9/16" Arrow staples to secure new bunk carpeting onto pressure-treated wood for a sail boat trailer. The tool has a depth adjustment that assured every staple was driven in completely, even staples that had to first penetrate six layers of carpeting before being driven into wood. As an M12 tool, it also indicates remaining battery level and appears to be very efficient in its power use. I highly recommend.

This thing is so convenient. I've had it for a couple years now and gotten a lot of use out of it. I bought this to replace my manual stapler because I damaged my wrists with it. If you have projects where you need to use a lot of staples, this is the way to go. Well worth the money to avoid carpal tunnel.

this milwaukee 2447-20 m12 staple gun,is great,it is easy to use,and it`s simple to use the dept adjustment wheel to set how deep you want the staple to go in,when i first received it,i tried it out,i could not believe,all i had to do was pull the trigger,and the staple went right into the wood,i will never use a manual staple gun again,with this staple gun you don`t have to put any pressure on the staple gun to make sure the staple is well seated,i had some years ago,a cordless staple gun from another manufacturer,and i had to use to hands to push the staple gun down to try to make sure the staple seated right but it did not,so i gave up on power staple guns,so i decide to give it another shot,and this milwaukee m12 staple gun worked perfect,once you set the dept level on it,then you are all set,this staple gun is a 5 out of 5 to me.

This tool like most other Milwaukee tools seems to work effortlessly doing what it’s designed for. I had to learn the diff between a narrow (1/4”) crown stapler and this type (3/8”) stapler. Very different indeed.

Been using manual staplers on film sets for years. They jam, they tire your hands. This one is reliable, gives your hands a break and hasn’t jammed on me. Battery lasts a long time too. Not the flashiest tool in the kit but I wouldn’t do without one.

The latest addition to my M12 tools, great for the Maintenance Type work I usually do. Great system lots of tools, light weight batteries that are affordable and still powerful enough to get work done. This stapler is perfect for everything from furniture repairs to replacing insulation and vapor barrier plastic. Not as large and heavy as the air powered staplers and I don't have to get out a compressor or run air hoses. Greta for all the small repair jobs I get from Realtors.

Purchased mostly for my wife to staple landscape fabric for the raised bed. I have a pneumatic stapler/nailer but cordless is more convenient in this type of application. Depth adjustment is great but does take a few staples to get the depth needed based on material and not too deep to go through fabric. I also like that this has a bump fire option. Based on my application, doesn’t really need to be all “that” neat as most of them will be covered by dirt.The 12v battery does seat very tight and some people may have difficulty removing as it does take a bit a strength to squeeze to pull out battery. I would never recommend “slamming” the battery home on any tool as it may bend the male pin and then you’ve got something to fix, if it didn’t break.I like the alignment function and it will not fire a staple until depressed. Where you have it aligned is where the staple will go. So, this will make fastening low voltage wiring pretty seamless and easy. Keep in mind that this will only take 3/8” wide crown (t150) staples. You are limited on how long the staples can be as well. I believe the ones I used are 3/8” long as well (not sure though). It did make quick work this my current project, especially with the bump fire option. Even at a bare tool price of over $100, it will last for many years. I used a 1.5AH battery, on a 4’x8’ raised bed and used a 50’ roll of fabric. Likely used little over 75 staples and didn’t lose full state of charge at all. Have to say this would last over 1000 staples before battery change.I would recommend this stapler as part of your cordless tool arsenal based on convenience and performance.

A really good sturdy power stapler which is ergonomically well designed and as a result very comfortable, I have only used it this far with 10mm staples on soft wood (CLS) and it copes quite easily. A great addition to the M12 tools within my tool box.
