Most tire pressure gages are flimsy, even when they are accurate and some are not very accurate.I have several of these. And they have proven themselves over and over.

Quality air pressure gauge. It is very accurate and it works. After many years I automotive business using Milton products I need an additional guage. I chose this one for the quality and accuracy.

What is there to say? It's a tire pressure gauge. It works consistently, and mine doesn't retract back into the gauge when removed from the tire (at least on my truck tires, which are nowhere near the 120psi maximum of this gauge).A little pricier than some gauges, but it shows in quality.

I was a little hesitant to buy this because of some of the negative reviews indicating that the gauge did not function properly. Some said the gauge stick would slide back in a little when you remove it from the valve and others said that two of the gauges would yield different readings and inaccurate readings at that.I bought two, one to replace a 30 year old Milton that I lost and another for my wife's truck. Both worked flawlessly and yielded the exact same readings on repeated tests.As good as the original in my book and still made in the USA !
