I needed a mounting bracket for a Milton s-1144 filter. The bracket for it, s-1163-22, was out-of-stock here. So I went with this one s-1163-15.The threaded ring that comes with it was a throw-away. I just supplied my own screws to attach the bracket to the top of the filter.It may not be an exact fit (the Milton catalog I have doesn't specify what diameter the hole is on a s-1163-22 and it doesn't even list a s-1163-15 bracket) but in my application it fits pretty well. I did use a flat washer under one of the screw heads just to make sure the screws would hold secure.For the price, this bracket was well worth purchasing.

it's a decent bracket - if it fits your need.in an answered question above, "milton" claims this has a 1.5" ID. it doesnt. it's 30.5mm/1.20" by my measurement.useless if you're looking for something to fit 1.5"....
