I do a lot of mosaics and would appreciate it if the color was on a label. After I remove it from the package I have no way of knowing which color I have. That's a small issue but it would be helpful.

Yes, a first time grouter is what I am. An acquaintance is a mosaic artist extraordinaire. Me? I broke a sweet little blue and white vase I got at Goodwill. A shattering experience because I loved that little thing, which was holding my string-of-beads plant. Darn thing fell off the wall! So much for trusting sticky pads for holding up nice stuff. Anyway, I picked up the potshards and mosaicked them onto a flower pot. It worked! I am not yet a mosaic artist, by a long shot. But, my attempt worked and the pot will soon hold a plant. So, dear reader, if you are looking for grout that works, this does! It is a stout grout.

How much can one say about grout? It is a great color, easy to mix and use and was perfect for the application we used it for. Worth the price.

Haven’t used it yet but one tip would be to double bag it because you do get covered in black anytime you go near it

but I'm having a tough time figuring out the correct mix ratio for this brand grout. It tends to be very dry, but by adding the smallest amount of water it quickly becomes runny :( Makes for a a bit of a mess during mosaic work. I will continue to mess around with "recipes", but in the meantime have found other brands that mix more evenly.

The color is very similar to all other so-called black grouts available in Ace or Lowe's or Home Depot, in large bags. This appears top be the same grout but simply repackaged in smaller amounts. Thus it is also very expensive! Very!
