The spool I got barely has any wax on it so the wick is limp and doesn’t stick together. This makes it much more difficult to use than it should be. It doesn’t burn properly and it doesn’t hold together. The whole spool just unraveled itself in storage.

Its just okay, it's not overwhelmingly amazing, It's not to terrible either. It does what it's supposed too, but smells terrible, almost like burning paper, kind of chemically tho.

I searched for a food safe wick and this is it. IHowever the first attempt at the candle burnt out very quickly so I’m thinking of braiding the wick next time around, and leaving part of the wick about an inch or two on both sides so I can trim it later. By the way you can make an herbed candle. I used some Knorr’s Pesto mix packet, just enough for the amount of butter used with dried garlic but it sank to the bottom so when I flipped the candle it was all on top. I’m also gonna look into making a cinnamon sugar one and see if there are any safety suggestions or special accommodations for that. Very happy with this item as I can see the possibilities of different things to make.
