New revision of S+RJ10 comes with several improvements: - Jumbo frames up to 10218 Bytes are now supported; - Link speed reporting is fixed - actual link speed in the interface menu is listed. Previously 100M/1G/2.5G/5G link speeds were not reported correctly; - DDM monitoring (Supply Voltage, Module temperature) is now supported.

Purchase this as a recommendation from a link on a website to be able to utilize my 2.5 gig cable modem with my dream machine pro unfortunately I did no research and found out there are significantly cheaper options that would have accomplished the exact same thing for much less money, don't be done like I was do some research

Bought this to install in a Mikrotik 10G switch and plug in my AT&T Fiber modem/router combo unit. The combo unit has a 5Gbps port, which is somewhat infamous for being particularly picky with SFP+ to Ethernet adapters on the other end. While my service is currently limited to only 1Gbps (pending some other network upgrades), this adapter seems to deliver the full gigabit speeds, and establishes a 5Gbps link to the modem.

This thing works great and installed with no issues. I get 5 Gig internet to my house but the WAN Ethernet port on the UDM Pro is limited to 1 Gig maximum speed. Not sure why they decided to cap it on that port but this was an easy buy that is getting me my full speeds now. I also bought an AC Infinity 40mm fan that is up against it blowing air since I heard the thing can get HOT. In my server rack the card seems to hover around 55-60 celsius with the fan. I did not test to see temps without the fan but i would recommend anyway to prevent any potential damage/outages since its like $15 extra.

I used this in conjunction with my Unifi Dream Machine Pro to get a 2.5Gig connection to my ISP's ONT. I went from a 1G connection to 2.5G and it was capable of handling both - this couldn't be said about some of the other competitor SFP+ that I used beforehand. Highly recommend anything MikroTik now as it seems to be very competitive to Ubiquiti's products and offered this as a solution prior to Ubiquiti offering their own SFP+ capable SFP to do the same thing.

This module does what it supposed to but it runs rather hot. I have two similar SFP+ modules both 10G RG45 plugged into Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN both running at 10gbps speed and this one runs at 90C when the other one (from fs.com) only at 60C. It does no obvious harm but you probably don't want to run too many of them in the same device... this is likely why Mikrotik recommends spacing and staggering them, so it must be a known issue. Good module otherwise.

These run very HOT in UDM PRO/SE, but that's because of Ubiquiti's design flaw. If you look at the UDM PRO/SE itself, there's a little to no air flow. SFP RJ45 transceivers run HOT by default and they do not withstand heat so these will run very HOT and fail eventually. I watched mine went up to 90C then transceiver stopped working as quickly as in a few hours. Most transceivers are rated at 70C max temp so these can run above 70C is very impressive already. I had to place a 20mm fan blowing at the transceiver directly and it dropped the temperature down to 64-65C. Anything bigger than 20mm fan won't do a better job at cooling because the air will just spread out. I've tried 20,40, 80 and 120mm noctua fan, and 20mm gave me the best temp by sticking the fan to the UDM with a clear dot sticker next to the transceiver.

Used these in 10G configuration in Switch Enterprise and Switch Aggregation. Both units successfully recognized the hardware once inserted and negotiated speeds and passed data.Testing was done with multiple ports on these 2 pieces of hardware to make sure that the units negotiated correctly. The individual units do run HOT with prolong use but that is understandable with media negotiation from light to copper. Sticking with light is the recommended solution if available but these units work fine out the packaging. Will later on test with 2.5G negotiation later on as hardware becomes in stock for me. Currently doing network upgrade from a fully 1G network to 10G support, may look at 25G also since the cost is relatively the same in several instances.

This MikroTik S+RJ10 was the only SFP+ RJ45 module I was able to get to work with AT&T 5 gig fiber internet. My setup is AT&T BGW-320 gateway -> Ubiquiti UXG-Pro. Originally I purchased the following SFP+ modules from reviews on Amazon, Reddit and Ubiquiti forms: These 3 SFP+ all connected and had good download speeds of around 3.7-4.7Gbit, but the uploads speeds were around 300Mbits and sometimes reach 500-700Mbits. There are others having similar issues with the UDM Pro and someone on Reddit was able to find this MikroTik SFP+ to work. I got delivery of this product today and was able to plug it into the UXG-Pro and get my uploads speeds greater than 1Gbit.My setup is MacBook Pro M1 Max & HP Book Firefly 15 G7 (WIN10) ->   -> Ubiquiti DAC Cable (included with UXG-Pro) -> AT&T BGW-320Wiitek support was very responsive, but the UXG-Pro was a newer product they haven’t tested so they suggested I contact Ubiquiti.I’ve tested the SFP+ Module from the QNAP to the AT&T gateway and the MikroTik was able to support the fast download and upload speeds, the other 3 only supported the fast download speeds and had similar issues with the uploads speeds averaging around 300Mbits
