Terrible. I opened the package and pulled everything out. I extended it and shook the magnet. It fell apart. I found 2 little washers on the ground I think came with it. I put them in and tightened it back together. I went to retrieve my spinner bait lure and the magnet fell off again. This time I can’t retrieve it. Terrible!!!!why a waste of money. Sad day.

For a small magnet, these are extremely strong. I use the magnets for multiple purposes and can say they came through with great results. Definitely worth the cost.

This magnet is VERY strong. It is doing what I needed it to do, HOWEVER, for a "fishing" magnet it's not great with damp or wet areas. It rusts and leaves rust stains everywhere. So, Pros = STRONG Cons = rusts fast

Strong and handy eye bolts. Warning, if used on and off a lot and not careful on how to tighen eye bolts, the magnets will break as they are not contained inside a shell. I broke one by over tightning the phillips screw. Do not abuse them, and you should be OK. Very strong for size

These small but powerful magnets are with their weight in gold. The magnets come in a pack of 6. The eye loops are unscrewed when shipped so all you have to do is screw the eye loop in if you need it. The magnets are super string and hold very well. Ive used them for multiple things and never had an issue. For holding up canvas movie screens to attaching light tow lines to hold down items in the wind. If you need a magnet you can use these. great for a variety of things and worth having a pack or two just in case.

I am a mechanic so normally assembling something is pretty routine for me HOWEVER...With these TINY fine-threaded chamfered bolts it is SOOO easy to lose one that it's not a joke. If you do, good luck finding one. As well, if anything is missing it is just too bad for you.If these were really cheap or if the picture and description had indicated that I was REQUIRED TO ASSEMBLE THEM MYSELF I would have made an informed decision....THEY DIDN'T.I just got the surprise when I opened this bag of junk.Next time I see a picture of something assembled ONLY in the description and it isn't, I WILL SEND IT BACK UNOPENED.As well the eye-bolt at the top is not nearly as large as the picture indicated and the magnet part is about half the thickness of the ones my buddy bought two weeks ago so be aware, they seem to mix and match good quality with....um....let's say LESSER quality ones.I reckon these magnets will pick up 20-30 pounds....NO GOOD FOR magnet fishing for sure.Check the package....assembled is probably the good ones while a white paper box of parts is notTHESE WENT BACK VERY QUICKLY

Having read other reviews i wasn't sure if these would be strong enough. There may have been a manufacturing defect with those reviews, but i personally didn't have any issues with mine holding securely to a roll cage bar. I am using four of them mounted through a sheet of thin plexiglass where two magnets were a little questionable and i was able to remove the utv windshield fairly easily, but with four it's very secure now. So a single magnet might not be quite strong enough depending upon application or torque of removing such as with pulling off the windshield. An individual magnet seems more than strong enough itself when applied directly to the roll bar and then attempting to pull it back off.Removal works best when sliding them sideways off the roll bar vs pulling directly off of the surface. the loop fastener is also mounting and working great, no issues with splitting the magnet when assembling. No need for instructions, the kit includes lock washers, screws, hook, and magnet.
