Used for holding a chain across a walkway as a safety break away incase the employee didn't realize they where in the wrong area of the factory. They are surprisingly strong andwork extremely well.

These are very strong magnets. They work great. Tge only problem I see is if I allow them to stick to each other. Then they are very difficult to get apart

I was trying to find a cheaper alternative to the spec'd N42 rare earth magnets with 40lb holding power. I bought another 40lb rare earth magnet similar in style to these on Amazon and purchased them. They held a fraction of the rated 40lbs. I returned them in favor of 80lb magnets which will still too weak. I finally arrived on these 150lb magnets. And while very strong they simple did not have the strength I needed.Summary - I do not know how this type of magnet on Amazon is tested and rated, but none of them appear to have the holding power listed in their descriptions. And while these are strong magnets they would not do the job for me.

These worked perfectly for my needs. I mounted a flag pole to the kingpin box of my 5th wheel trailer. They are very strong and the included screws made mounting a breeze.

Stupid strong magnets but actual magnet is fairly brittle. So be cautious what u stick it on cuz it’s gonna be a fight to get it off and how hard u slap it down as it will shatter.
