When washing gold or platinum banded dinnerware in the dishwasher, use a gentle cycle and turn off the dishwasher before the drying cycle, or allow the dinnerware to cool before handling it. The high temperature of the heated drying cycle can cause the precious metal bands to soften. This tea saucer measures 6-1/2 inch diameter.

This matches my original set I got for my wedding in 2005. The bottom mark is in platinum and says ‘Made in Thailand.’ I have gotten a couple of other pieces, serving platters, that do not match exactly. The bottom marks on those are in black ink and they don’t have country of origin. Upon further research I have discovered the dishes are now made in China and the quality is not that same. That was not the case with this saucer. Thank you!!
