I got this for low pile carpet cleaning. I held of for a while as I was concerned it wasn't as effective or quiet as an electric motor-brush. Thankfully my concerns were unfounded. I have medium to low pile carpets and this works great, even after going over the area previously cleaned by another vacuum. I also thought it would have an annoying high-pitched whine and would need earplugs. Happy to discover it's even quieter than the smaller STB 101 mini brush. I haven't had any issues with blockages or significant reduction in RPM while in use. There is also a small valve that can limit suction to the fan cage but I haven't needed to use that yet, I believe it is for higher pile carpeting. Cleaning out the hair completely may require some disassembly if you wish, otherwise snipping the longer strands of hair a few times works ok.If your vacuum doesn't support a power brush head like mine, I'm very pleased with this attachment for low to medium carpeting.

So I’ve had a Classic C1 for about 2 years now. It’s a wonderful vacuum and works very well on vinyl plank floors, but about 6 months ago I moved to a place with low pile carpet. The vacuum head that comes with the C1 is kind of meh on carpet and is kind of difficult to maneuver on carpet but I’d still say it performs better than a lot of other vacuums. That said when I discovered this piece I was intrigued and WOW does it make a huge difference. I mean holy dog hair! This thing not only moves more easily and smoothly on carpet than the original vacuum head, but it got so much dog hair off the carpet. I’ve never had a bag fill so completely. I was both horrified and impressed 🤣 A++ definitely worth the money.

My old brush was broken. That one was the previous model. This o e for my vacuum just fine and is working beautifully. $129 is a touch price point but I really like my Miele vacuum. This brush lifts up my rugs, it has that much suction power.

Our Miele C1 did not include a turbo brush head, and after reading a bunch of reviews I decided to buy both this "official" Miele TurboTeQ head, and the (also available on Amazon) aftermarket "EZ SPARES Replacement Turbo Brush Head" and see if the price difference for the Miele head was worth it. *If anyone from Miele marketing is reading this, at a price point of maybe half this or so, I'd have considered just going with Miele. But at *five times* the price of the many aftermarket alternatives? Ach du lieber! Not worth it.Yes, I know, I bought a $400 canister vac. Buy once, cry once, okay. I get it. But I bought the C1 because it was demonstrably better than the other options. And listen, Fritz, the price on this hunk of plastic with a roller brush is just a bridge too far.The EZ Spares products all had generally favorable reviews, and in particular, the specific EZ Spares unit I bought (they come in red and blue) also has a clear window in front, a requirement for me so I can see if the roller brushes are clogged up, just like the TurboTeQ. Most of the aftermarket units don't seem to have this.So as I said, I ordered both heads. I ran both in a test run. The EZ Spares head worked just as well as the Miele, and the build quality was more or less on par with it. Maybe it doesn't look quite as minimalist and Bauhaus inspired and German and such, but the red's kinda cool, and most importantly both units did what they were supposed to do, suck up dirt and get our carpets clean. After one test run, the TurboTeq went right back in the box to return. Is the EZ Spares unit perfect? Of course not, but neither is the TurboTeQ -- just read the reviews in here. It's a roller brush head, it's gonna take maintenance and cleaning, and eventually it's gonna break, but so is the TurboTeQ, which is why it's nice to have a cansiter vac with modular attachements that you can swap out if they fail.I'm confident my aftermarket head will last at least as long as the TurboTeq, and if it doesn't? At this price, I can buy four more EZ Spares heads and still break even. Yeesh. If you wanted to dodge this price gouging and stick with German made, you can find yourself a Wessel Werk TK286 head, they manufacture these heads for Miele, and the TK286 is $60, so still less than *half* the price of the TurboTeQ. The TK286 just doesn't have a clear front window, which is a feature I wanted for ours.* One note, while the EZ Spares listing says it's 32mm, a 35mm adapter was included in the box. You might order a 32mm to 35mm adapter for $3 just in case, they're handy to have and give you more options for other aftermarket attachments.

We purchased the Miele Classic C1 because we wanted a canister model that was light weight with good suction. Unfortunately, it was near impossible to maneuver on carpets. So we purchased this Turbo Brush. This works so much better than the floorhead brush that came originally with the vacuum. It still doesn't move as smooth across area rugs as I'd like it to (even using all the various suction features), but it is powerful and gets the job done.

Miele non si smentisce... Ottima qualità di materiali, ottimo nell'uso. Unica pecca:bisogna smontare con il cacciavite per una pulizia più profonda, peccato non aver fatto la spazzola asportabile.

I bought this to replace the previous (original) Miele vacuum brush head, after the bearings wore out from several years of use.As per the previous one, this is very effective and produces a great result which I am very satisfied with. Like other reviewers, I did think about it for a while beforehand, due to the cost, which is a downside. The one feature I’m getting used to, which is different from the original, is that you can no longer remove the cover to get to trapped hair which has wound around the brushes.Instead (following directions) you use scissors to cut along the hair following the designated groove, then switch the power back on to vacuum up the hair straight from the brushes. I find this more fiddly than before.Hope this makes sense, I think the previous feature was easier to use, however I might just need to get used to the new one!Ideally use sharp bladed pointed ended scissors for this to be effective, not the curved edge kind.5 stars for effective vacuum result, 4 stars for overall ease of use.

I have two long-haired cats, and if I don't keep up on my vacuuming my carpet quickly gets COVERED in cat hair.I really like my C1 Classic Miele but I was thinking about replacing it because I found it to be a ton of effort when it came to getting the hair out of the carpet. But I've had Mieles for years now and thought I'd give the TurboTeQ attachment a go before I gave up on the vacuum.I'm glad I did! This thing has made my C1 absolutely incredible when it comes to getting the hair out of the carpet compared to the AllTeQ head that comes standard with the C1. I'm able to leave the vacuum on the max suction setting and the rotating bristles agitate the hair enough to pull it out of the carpet after just a couple passes. Compared to how hard I was working to get the AllTeQ to do the same thing is like night and day. The only issue is that after awhile you'll want to clean the drum brush, as the rotating motion will wrap a lot of hair around itself. The instruction manual suggests using a pair of scissors to cut it out, and that seems to work well enough for me.WARNING: Be extremely careful around drapes, curtains and anything similar. The power of this thing will absolute rip it off the wall if you're not paying attention.TL;DR Totally worth the money if you'll be vacuuming a lot of carpet.

The Miele TurboTeQ turbo brush is an excellent add-on to the already impressive range of Miele attachments. Does an outstanding job of cleaning short- to medium-pile carpets/rugs/mats, etc. A very worthwhile investment.
