This attachment, Splinova Miele Turbo Head Cleaner, fit the Miele Classic 1 hose nicely. The vacuum had powerful suction but with the Turbo Head, it had nearly no suction and did not pick up even loose lint on the carpet. I do not recommend this.

I have a miele and I purchased the proprietary vacuum brush for carpets. The Miele brand one worked ok for about a year and was extremely difficult to take apart to clean, and upon doing so after it stopped working the whole thing basically fell apart completely. This splinova vacuum head works just as well, if not better, and is a tiny fraction of the price. Has held up over several months of use now. Even if it breaks it is a vastly better option for repair/replace than the miele. I highly recommend this over the miele brand one, don't waste your money just get this one.

I love Miele products, but replacement parts can be pricey. The floor tool that comes with the vacuum is difficult to push on carpet and takes effort because of the drag from the powerful suction. I wanted an upgrade to the floor tool with wheels, but I wasn’t ready to pay over $100 for it. I didn’t know generic replacement parts for Miele existed until I saw this one and decided to take a chance. I was surprised at how well it works with my canister vacuum. It glides nicely over thick carpet and the suction works well to spin the brush. So if you want or need to replace the head cleaner with a cheaper alternative, this is a good one to buy.

I've used this maybe 25 times or so and it's already stopped functioning. It simply won't spin. Yes, I've cleaned the hair. I did everything possible to fix and after giving up that it was redeemable, I took it apart. I examined the mechanisms in place (a small fan acts as a turbine to spin the wheel), unassembled everything, cleaned everything, and put it exactly back together. Same result, no spin. From what I can tell, the rubber toothed cable stretched. Everything is seated properly but imtheres still slack, so it just spins around the brush without grabbing at all.It worked well for a bit but I should have gotten the name brand head. You live and learn.

You can’t push down too hard on medium pile rug, also only works when pulled towards you slowly on medium piled run. Low piled rug works better.

Couldn't afford to buy Miele's original carpet turbo brush but simple floor brush that came with my Miele Boost CX1 was no good on carpet.Purchased this one and it collected so much stuff I could not believe it. The description says it's compatible with most Miele vacuums. Recommend.

This fits my Miele perfectly. I ordered it because the standard Miele floor attachment is very hard to use on rugs. This seemed to fill the bill according to the ads -- it had wheels and a rotating brush, turbo-powered by the more than adequate suction of the Miele. The turbo power was more than adequate in most cases. The only time the rotating brush stalled was when I vacuumed a very flexible carpet. The carpet got sucked into the attachment so far that it stalled the turbo. This caused it to stick to the rug as well. All the other carpets, including small area rugs and runners were cleaned well. Some other reviewers questioned the longevity of the attachment. I could see that this might be a problem because the power source is the air flow into the vacuum, which is mixed with debris from the floors and rugs. This might cause rapid wear on some parts. Like all other brush attachments, this one got tangled with hair pretty quickly, but not excessively. Although I got it for carpet, it worked well on bare floors as well. Overall, based on performance out of the box, I was very pleased.

The original turbo brush attachment on the Miele Antares that I purchased about 20 years ago, finally died. Can't complain about that, though. After reading the negative reviews on the turbo brush replacement-at about $135-150.00 provided by Miele, and the positive reviews on this one, I decided to go with the cheaper model at approx a fifth of the price of the Miele replacement. I'm glad I did. This turbo brush doesn't have quite the same suction power as the original, but it's a lot easier to push, and from what I can see, does just as good a job. I highly recommend it. UPDATE: Still impressed with this replacement turbo brush. But wanted to say that I disassembled the Miele turbo brush, cleaned it thoroughly, and after inspecting the 'toothed' belt guessed that the belt might have been the issue with it's inability to operate. I ordered a new belt from an online vac store for around $10.00 and another $10.00 to ship (before I ordered the Splinova turbo brush, but was impatient to get this vac up and running again), received the new belt, figured out how to reassemble the Miele turbo head with the new belt and VOILA! it works like new. If one is in the slightest bit, mechanically inclined, you might want to try this option. It could be just a belt issue. Now I have a basically new Miele turbo brush and the new Splinova turbo brush as a backup. The original miele is best, but this splinova is a great alternative to paying thru the nose for something that seems to not hold up for very long.

Update 14 months after purchase: took a chance and ordered another of these, because my vacuum was useless without it. It’s still working great, over a year later. I guess like everything else, a few bad apples slip through. Very happy with my purchase.Update 4 months later: the head has stopped spinning. It says there is a 6 month warranty. How this works I have no idea. I’m still glad that I only paid $30 vs the $119 the Miele head is priced at. But seriously. WHY CAN’T SOMEONE MAKE A HEAD THAT LASTS MORE THAN A FEW MONTHS. Because of that, I would never buy a Miele vacuum again. Replacing a turbo head every two bags for supposedly the best brand on the market?! Get out of here. This is just craziness.I purchased a Miele vacuum for the reputation. The vacuum is amazing. The bags are good size. The attachments are great. The turbo head is garbage. It lost 80% if it’s auction within 2 months. It stopped spinning completely and has almost no suction within 6 months of purchase. I didn’t purchase a warranty because it’s supposedly a great brand. I very much regret that. I HAD to have a new head so that I can use my vacuum. I wasn’t willing to pay $125 for another Miele turbo head since the design is clearly flawed. There are thousands of reviews online about how bad the design is and how they just don’t last after a few uses if there’s any hair at all on the floor. So after months of thinking about it I went with this head. It works SO much better. I’ve had it for a month. The suction is still at 100%. I’m very happy.

Lo use por primera vez en alfombra de baja altura y fue una decepción. Mientras que sí retira los pelos de mis gatas y el polvo, tengo que darle muchas pasadas para lograr un trabajo medio decente (y todavía quedan residuos en la alfombra). No se puede culpar a mi aspiradora (una miele C3 brilliant). Este cepillo lo compré para reemplazar mi Pet Turbo brush, de Koblenz, que después de 3 años terminó rompiéndose. El Turbo Brush hace un mejor trabajo que está herramienta y está al mismo precio. Creo que el problema principal son las cerdas (porque la calidad de construcción es excelente): como quiere ser una herramienta universal de piso y alfombra, tuvieron que ponerle cerdas suaves para no rayar duela. Más bien, deberían decidirse: o es una herramienta solo de piso y duela (y por tanto, así la venden, como una herramienta de suelo duro) o es una herramienta para alfombra (y por tanto, mejoran la dureza de las cerdas para poder extraer lo más posible el pelo y el polvo). La usaré una segunda vez en algunos días para refrendar esta opinión, pero lo más seguro es que la devolveré. Lo que haré después es: o me compro otra vez el Pet brush de Koblenz o ahorro para comprarme la herramienta original de Miele.
