It's a salt-pinch bowl. The advertising says it's made out of mulberry wood. It comes with a small carved spoon to scoop the salt out with. It's really attractive and the carving is very well done. I'm thinking of buying more but I need to know if there are other "designs" for the carving. Very well done and well worth the money.

I ordered this as my salt keeper. I was very pleased with the quality. The design is beautiful, and it has a nice finish that makes it easy to clean. I am happy to display it by my stove. This would make an excellent gift to anyone who enjoys cooking.

I love this salt box! It is well made and very unique. It comes with a cute little spoon, but it can be used for a lot of different things, not just a salt or spice box. The tag says they are each handmade, which to me makes it a special item. Very pleased with it!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this item to be really nicely made, the lid fits correctly unlike many items of this type that are hand made in some other place and at this price point .I hope whoever made it was paid decently for doing it because it is clearly hand made and well done. I love it and it will be on my counter holding my salt indefinately.

If you’re thinking of buying this salt box (or whatever you plan to use it for) buy it! It’s well made, unique and the perfect size. With great detail. It would be the perfect gift as well. I initially bought one. Then quickly bought 2 more, one being gifted.
