I don't have a lot of previous experience using MIDI cables, but this is a nice feeling, good looking and well working cable. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it works great. It feels well made and high quality for the lower price.

The contacts appear to be gold plated, or at least gold in colour, so the makers have taken some care to ensure good contact with this cable.The cover is braided and the end connectors are metal. All-around, it appears to be an excellent quality MIDI cable and built to last.It can probably be used for other 5-pin DIN applications as well.

I'm building out a complicated solo live rig, and there are a number of synths with old-school 5-pin MIDI jacks. I have plenty of shorter cables, but I needed one longer one to get from the Roland Fantom over to a DJ table with a bunch of small boutique synths, a couple of drum machines, etc. This gets the job done, with a couple of feet to spare. It seems well-made, and I really like the heavy-duty braided cable, which looks more like a high end guitar cable than a MIDI cable. This is perfect for my needs. Recommended!

The braiding on this cable gives me a lot of confidence that it will be reliable over many uses of coiling up and unpacking. Which is important for a longer cable run, like this one of 15 feet. For shorter midi cables that connect devices side by side and that I leave plugged in, the durability is less of a concern, but this one will be for connecting devices over a distance and transport, so wear and tear on the cable is more likely. I can trust it more than my thinner cables without the braiding.

This MIDI cable is good quality, and it worked well with my setup. One can never have too many MIDI cables. I used this with my MPC to control and sync my synths and drum machine. I use this with a MIDI thru box. It will work just as well with a merger.The cable is gold plated at the connectors. The cable has good protection with a braided jacket that keeps the internal wiring from being damaged easily. It's a nice feature that can really help the longevity of the cable. The casing is made from aluminum. It protects it with nice durability.This cable met my needs and standards. It's good that it has some longer lengths, because my setup keeps growing. It will be compatible with most 5 pin DIN MIDI devices and instruments. This is probably one of the better quality cables I own. I recommend it.

Works great, running several synths and automation for my live shows. Looks MUCH better than the Out/Thru cables I have, but they still work so I wont replace them yet.Has the nice braided shield, strain relief on the ends, and reads as 0 impedance and 0 capacitance on the meter.Great choice if you need good ol 5 pin MIDI and cant find the cables locally anymore.

Works correctly, material and build quality seem decent and suitable. Short 3' MIDI cables like this are only suitable for connecting equipment which are near each other, but other than this consideration I would recommend this MIDI cable for anyone including professionals.

This midi cable is a solid addition to my live music rig and seems to be made well. Tight fittings for the input ports are a plus. Love the braided cloth external sleeve. Feels good to coil and sound quality is clean and good.
