Very Easy and quick to set up as I just chose the recirculated mode rather than an external exhaust mode. I attached four screws in the bottom of the cupboard and two in the back of the wall. Since I chose re circulation mode I had to attach the round carbon filter and flip the switch to up position and tighten with a Philips head screw driver.

This is one of the cheapest, junk items Midea has ever created. I am so dissatisfied. The instructions are unclear, with consistent grammatical errors. The item itself is cheap and flimsy. There was no thought to the instillation process and some of the screw holes are unreachable because immovable trim on the device. It can not be hardwired, and must be plugged in. It does come with ONE charcoal filter, but you can not find replacements, and Midea customer support also could not tell me where I can order replacements when the time comes. I wish I could return this item, but it's installed now, and there is no way I can get it down without destroying my kitchen.I WAS a fan of Midea items (I have their U window AC as well as the cube dehumidifier) but after this experiance, I don't think I will be purchasing any other of their items.

It looks great and seems to work well. The downside is it is really loud and has a weird sound to it. It also did not come with the proper screws to be able to hang it correctly.

It isn’t of the highest quality but it is good for the money spent. It works good and I don’t have any real complaints. Would buy again if I was to ever need another one.

The 1st one arrived heavily damaged from the factory. I received the replacement in perfect condition. The hoof is decent quality but no where at the level of the name brand competitors. The SS is light gauge and dents easily. You can see minor deformities where the switches are cut out due to the thin metal. I had to drill a couple holes in the front to match the replacement mounting configuration and put a small dent where the bend is by lightly contacting the metal with my drill. It's barely noticeable but you can see it in the picture. There's gaps in the seems where a little light shines through and the light shield drops below the bottom of the hood which is unsightly. I decided to get an all plastic bulb and leave the shield off. There's also no outlet damper/trap so you will get outside air coming in if you don't have an external system. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if the construction of your home is tight. All that said, if you're on a budget this is a fairly decent option. The switches work well and the fan is relatively quite.

This Midea brand range hood is much better than the cheaper visani one I got from Home Depot. When opening the largest fan, it is not shaking at all. Price is worth the money. Recommend!

I really like this product overall. It came with no dents and perfect condition. When installing, it was super easy and was a perfect fit. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. It works great and the lighting is an extra bonus. Overall, I think this was a great product for the amount I paid and is worth it!

This unit is relatively light weight, fits in our price budget and the instruction guide is easy to understand. The filter and parts are all included, the two reusable aluminum mesh filters are easy to wash, it looks good and modern,the stainless steel finish looks great and is easy to clean. Overall, it's a reliable, efficient, and stylish choice for any kitchen. I am so far satisfied with my purchase .

Used this to replace our old, original very warn unit. This looks way better in my kitchen compared to the old unit. Had a few difficulties removing the old unit. This new unit went in w/o very much trouble and works much better than our old one!
