This is a great quality alternative to the factory options, I personally wanted to try out a different style to the available colors so I based mine on the 1st gen bronco/heritage modern bronco's

Body looks great and the build is easy enough but the m1.4 screws ARE TRASH! you 100% must buy steal m1.4 x 5mm cap head screws because every single button head I tried stripped out with any amount of torque. Once I replaced the screws everything went together great

THIS BODY IS AMAZING. bought for my son and WOW what a bargain.Comes with a lay down servo mount with steering links. Those alone are usually $20. My son's RC car now has WAY more flex because of this. Lay down servo mount plus the additional shock mounting locations make this a must buy. Now I need to buy one because his literally flexs a whole extra inch than mine because of this body.Don't listen to the cryers, just buy it and figure it out!

So I bought this thinking it would work for my trx4m bronco with the included hardware but with the rear links make it too long for the driveshaft for the bronco so now I gotta order more stuff and the crawlers down

I would just like to say; I was pleasantly surprised of the quality and extra parts included in this kit. The screws are not as bad as other reviewers have made them to be, I think they simply need to use the correct screwdrivers. What I wasn’t impressed was the lack of details for the instructions for the suspension links and ends and the direction they are to be installed. I am also not impressed with the lack of clearance for the flat servo mount. Please tell me I did something wrong. Is there a hidden need for longer shocks that was not mentioned? More attention to details in your instructions would be greatly appreciated for your less experienced hobbyists. Thank you!

The MEUS Racing MB18 Body and Chassis Kit for the TRX4M is a mixed bag but overall a solid option for anyone wanting to upgrade their rig. This kit includes an ABS shell and a durable nylon chassis, plus a few thoughtful extras like a pre-painted surface and a set of stickers to personalize the look. It’s compatible with various TRX4M models, like the Defender, Bronco, K10, and F150 High Trail, and I appreciate that MEUS designed this to be ready to rock with just a few parts (axles, transmission, and electronics) are all you need to get this thing moving. One of the highlights for me is that it comes with a lay-down servo mount for a lower center of gravity, which can make a difference in handling on the trail. However, keep in mind it doesn’t support the vertical servo mount, so you’ll need to modify your setup by cutting the servo ears if you’re using a stock axle. Now, onto the quality: the body looks fantastic, and there’s a nice light kit included to give it that extra realistic touch. The high clearance rear links and lay-down servo mount are nice bonuses for the price. However, the hardware leaves a lot to be desired. The screws that come with this kit are some of the worst I’ve encountered. Using quality screw drivers, the screws still stripped way too easily, which made assembly a pain.Once built, the MB18 definitely stands out. It has a functional design that fits 64mm tires without scrubbing, and the included spare tire adds a nice touch for scale looks. Just be aware that there’s not much access to the battery; it’s pretty much locked in once you put the body on. Also, MEUS decided to dump all the screws into one bag, which made sorting through it frustrating. It’s a bit daunting at first glance, but if you’re patient, you’ll get through it.The kit is designed for a standard single-speed transmission, but I decided to use a 2-speed transmission instead. This did require me to remove the truck’s cabin to make it fit, which turned out to be a simple adjustment that made room for the 2-speed setup. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that adding the 2-speed transmission raises the motor position, so you'll need to use a very compact motor if you want to avoid modifying any of the kit’s braces. In my case, I went with the Hobbywing Mini24 motor, which fit perfectly without any extra adjustments needed. So, if you’re planning on a 2-speed transmission, just be aware that space is tight, but with the right motor, it’s totally doable and adds an extra layer of performance to the build! For the price, this kit offers a lot, even if the hardware could use an upgrade. It’s a great option for anyone with extra TRX4M parts looking to build something unique without breaking the bank. Not perfect, but overall, it’s a fun project that looks and performs well once it’s put together.

Nice, easy build. Beautiful body and nice lighting. My only complaint is access to the battery is non-existent. The battery is basically permanent now.
