Left Hand thread on one of the rods was not cut correctly and would not accept link end. Even when swapping from a previously LH threaded link. Threads appear to be circular with no pitch. It's a shame because otherwise these look great.

These are at least twice the diameter of the stock ones. Very good quality and strong. Can't see them ever bending.

I love that these rods can be chosen in just about any length you'd need them, it offers so much flexibility in use case. For me I needed all the linkage for my custom SCX10, so I ended up ordering two more sets!, these are quality rods and come with plenty of extra links for multiple set-ups. Highly recommend to anyone who needs replacements or custom length rods.

With my TRX4, I had upgraded various parts on it to metal over the plastic ones that it comes with. In an attempt to give the vehicle more weight and a better center of gravity, metal parts is the most effective and best upgrades you and perform.These metal steering linkages are the ticket to better weight distribution, and more responsiveness. They fit up with the factory parts, they are fully adjustable, and work out better than factory. Would absolutely recommend these as a potential upgrade for your RC needs.

Link quality seems good and rod ends are decent. Time will tell how they hold up. Being able to order a custom length is awesome! Just make sure you know what length to order…see below.Getting the rod ends on the links is a bit of a pain in the rear since they are not pre-threaded. I also didn’t realize at first that one end of the link is reverse threaded. After figuring out which end is threaded which direction, they go on with a little work.- Keep in mind the length listed is the link length only without rod ends. For example: 70mm Links = 89.7mm Ball Center To Ball Center with the rod ends installed. Take ball center to ball center length you need and subtract 20mm to get the length to order. I did not find this information in the item’s description at the time I ordered. Live and learn, I suppose.Overall I am happy with these after learning the things above. Unfortunately I need 70mm ball center to ball center and the shortest length offered here is 60mm - I need 50mm.

Just know measurements are end to end including threads. Usually need to order links based on distance to rid ends.

I love these links. They go great with a steel chassis. They make the car much more stable and adds weight to its crawling capabilities. When using a crawler it’s more efficient the more weight you have. It makes it easy for these cars to stay in place from tilting over or over rough terrain, I think aluminum parts, especially in crawlers are incredibly crucial for successful crawl. These are fair priced and definitely worth getting.
