Worked well eventually but connector on my Mazda was a bit reluctant to engage with the pins on one he adaptors. Found that one connector lug was slightly crooked, and needed to use a small screwdriver to straighten it. Also polarity of wiring was opposite of what was on my 2002 Mazda Protege, so needed to wire black to positive and white to negative on speaker to get phasing correct.

These did not fit the dash speakers of my 2018 Ram 1500 Sport with the Alpine system. I was able to make them fit by cutting off a lot of the plastic housing. I also taped the connector together just to make sure. I would look for different connectors.

It works on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2006 with Boston acoustics system. You just need to press it really hard to the current connector.I’m guessing it will work with any Chrysler with Boston acoustics sound.I used it for the front dash speakers. I did not check the fit in the door speakers.

This product works perfect on my 2014 ram 1500 dash speakers. Slight modifications will be required but I guarantee after slight modification it will fit. I used a small flat head made the insides wider and also took off the tab then when I pressed it in (very hard) it went on snug as slipper that would never come off. Lol ether way it works and I’m happy love the new dash speaker in my ram

The Product doesn't represent the picture. The picture is in fact the '' Metra 72-7902 '' . After modified it slighty , I was able to fit it to my Chrysler connector .

picture isn't accurate to the product recieved. I bought this product based on the picture which was the best match to my factory wire.

The product pictured is one that will work for my Dodge Ram speakers. The product that was shipped is not the same. As others have said I believe what is pictured is the 72-7902 connector.Who ever said you can just push this one in is wrong. Yes I could put this in but it would stop because the electrical pins are bigger and will not enter the car side plug.

Put into a 1990 RX-7. These connectors fit the in-dash and the rear, pillar speakers. The door speakers actually take a different connector (I *think* Metra 72-9300; looks like the correct connector, but haven't used one, so can't be sure). One catch, and I'm not sure if it's the speaker or the connector that's at fault. I installed some Rockford Fosgate Punch P16 Speakers, and the spade connectors were too small to fit the speaker terminals. I ended up grinding down the terminal tabs with a rotary tool. The plastic connector end mated with the original harness perfectly.

I spoke directly with Metra about my dilemma finding a speaker harness adapter for the front (dash) speakers in my 2005 Dodge Neon, and a technician/specialist said this was the part to get. Actually, they said I needed a 72-7902, but I couldn't find one online and saw a few people say that this part was virtually identical. Since I was desperate (I had already tried two different Metra harness adapters without any luck) I gave it a shot.I had to take a razor blade and shave off the small rib that runs down the length of the inside of the connector, but once I did that, it fit like a glove. I had to push firmly to seat the connection, but it fit perfectly. Go figure! It probably fits all 2003-2005 Dodge Neon dash speakers, maybe even 2000-2002's also. Good luck to anyone searching for this information, I hope it finds you. I know I searched hours for it and never found anything useful. Thank goodness that a tech from Metra knew about this "trick".
