This seems very sturdy and was easy to put on. We use it for our 5x8 enclosed trailer which I haul to craft fairs. So far it has been effective.

Cheap and works great on my 2” hitch on a utility trailer. Wouldn’t hold up to much abuse from a thief, but works to deter them. Lock works as expected and easy to use. I like the yellow color because it stands out and shows it’s locked. Would buy another if needed.

I've had many of these before and they work great, but this one isn't working so well for my application. The ball is tinier than the ones I had before... so small, that on my standard travel trailer coupler (2 5/16th ball size) it just falls out, even with the ball latch engaged. That would be a bit annoying, but okay since the U-bar would hold it in place, but in my case (Grand Design trailer using standard Lippert components) the U-bolt is a millimeter or two too narrow to fit over the coupler! I could probably force it or bang on my coupler with a hammer s bit, but I shouldn't have to. Sadly, the page description doesn't state the size of the lock or what ball size it's best for, but mine ain't it. Would probably work fine on a 2" or 1 7/8" ball/coupler.Quality/Functionality: 4+ starsUndisclosed fitment: 0 starsNot sure if it's worth sending back or try to find someone else who can use it.

This is a decent hitch lock. Keep in mind all of these ball style hitch locks can be broken with a hammer fairly easily. So it isn’t 100% secure (as with any lock) it’s a deterrent. That being said this locks seems to be well made and locks.

Only had the product for a few months before the key snapped off. It was difficult to snap into the lock position and took a while to get it to lock correctly making the process of locking your trailer longer than it should have been.
