I've written reviews on all the tshirts this company offers since I fell in love with the vneck tshirts I first bought so figured I'd expand my collection. Unfortunately it seems the vnecks are the only ones I'll be keeping. The material is amazing and soft and washes well which is why I wanted to expand my collection of this company's shirts. But for some reason with these scoop neck shirts, I couldn't get the sizing right.I have XXL in the vnecks and they fit perfect. (I own four of them, I including a XL for a more fitted fit)According to the size chart, this shirt fits a bit bigger so I went with the XL and it was HUGE on me and looked sloppy which I thought was strange since the vneck in the XL is fitted. Returned the XL and bought a Large and it was way too small. Super tight and on the shorter side compared to the others. I'm 5'9 so one of the things I loved about the vnecks was the length and this shirt was quite short on me.So I think it's a fantastic shirt if you can get the size right for you but unfortunately I'll be returning. I'm hoping they get more vnecks in stock so I can buy more of those.

I was very excited to receive these. I got black, dark grey and light grey. The light grey is very see through. They do dry quickly but after a few wears the dark grey one was already pilling. At this price point, to me, it made the product unacceptable. I haven't worn the light grey one so I'm returning it. If I had the choice to return the other ones I would have. Too expensive to wear only a few times (btw... washed only once. The stink resistance was excellent!)

When I unpack the package, very strong smell made me uncomfortable. After wash, smell still there. But after dry up, the smell is gone. Light and confortable.

I've bought these shirts in 3 colors (dark gray, blue, mint green) and haven't touched any other tees since! I LOVE the way they fit - slightly wider neckline than a regular crewneck and really flattering. The fabric is not at all see through or scratchy, very soft and drapes beautifully.A couple of other reviewers have mentioned getting snags. I've had no issues wearing them while doing yardwork and caring for my feral cat colony in a wooded area. They are perfect for Texas summers and can withstand multiple wears without getting the least bit stinky, sticky or grimy. They also hang dry almost instantly even on humid days.I did notice one sizing peculiarity. The mint green and blue shirts are about an inch longer than the gray. I am 5'5", 150lb and medium fits loosely, the way I prefer. I would try sizing down if you prefer a closer fit.

Finally, a sufficiently long t-shirt! Soft, high quality, non-itchy on the skin, and very pleasant.

Comparison of Merino Tech, Merino Protect, Merinnovation, and Metarino. All are very lightweight, and may show the outline of a bra. All except Merinnovation are 100% merino. Merino Tech and Merino Protect are both fairly smooth, but both have just a hint of scratchiness. I've been wearing an 85% wool bra, so I'm used to wearing wool next to my skin. Metarino is the only one that says it's Australian merino, so maybe that's why it's the only one that felt truly soft.Merinnovation is 87% wool, 13% nylon. Still stink resistant and very soft--almost as soft as Metarino. And they're not overly long! Those are my new favorite, since sometimes they're on sale & I like the length. However, the neck seam is not as nicely finished as Metarino--it irritates my skin when I sweat heavily. The Merino Tech shirt is cut oddly high under the arms, which bugs me. (I don't have large arms.) It's also a smidge too short to be flattering. (I'm only 5'4" so it's not because I'm too tall ;)The Metarino is a little too long for me, but I'm keeping it since it's the most comfortable & most flattering on me.The Merino Protect purple stripe is closer to brown than purple. Not a good color on me; I wanted purple. The Merino Tech blue is heathered, which I like. But the Metarino blue is also nice-- a clear dark blue with a hint of teal. You can see the difference in sleeve lengths, and shirt lengths, in the photo.Metarino neckline is nice--a bit more feminine than the usual t-shirt style neck (see photo of me wearing it) --and I just spilled my flavored water down the front of it, and it beaded up & rolled right off, leaving no stain or stickiness! However, after the third time washing the Metarino (always delicate cycle, in cold water, and it's never been inside a dryer) I discovered two small holes (see photo). I haven't been tucking it into pants, but I may have snagged it on a thorn while hiking. I put some Fray Check on the spots & they went through the wash again without getting worse.

This is is a great shirt for travel. Merino wool t-shirts are the only ones I do not need to wash after each wearing and they dry quickly in the shower when they are washed.I am not an athlete, no longer hike, and with age I have become so hypersensitive to fabrics, seams and tags that I often wear shirts inside out around the house because everything itches.ITCHA number of years ago I realized there's one shirt I always traveled with and wanted to find more. I was shocked to see the T-shirt was made of merino wool because it had been many years since I had been able to wear wool against my skin. Since then I have learned that I can wear many merino wool knits. The quality of the wool, fiber diameter and how it is processed can make big difference, factors not necessarily correlated with price. I can't tell you this particular shirt won't itch you, but I can tell you it is one that doesn't itch me. (I do wash all of my wool several times Euclean before before wearing and found this product especially made for washing wool and delicates is totally worth the price. ) Sure, it isn't soft like micro fleece, but it is as comfortable as my cotton tees.ODOR RESISTANCE: Wool is known for its odor resistance. People like my husband could wear the same shirt and socks for days without showering. Others like me can shower daily, do an extra sink freshen-up, stick to natural fabrics, and yet still rarely get two wearings out of anything that picked up any sweat. If you fall into the second category, I highly recommend the shirt . As long as I hang it to air out, I can get two or three wearings out of this before I need to wash it... And often that's only because I am messy.FIT: it is hard to generalized fit but I would say this shirt is fairly true to size. Sometimes medium sized t-shirts are too small to accommodate my rounded back and pull under the arms. These were fine. But I do think the long length is not flattering for anything but super casual wear for me. It's too long to tuck well for me because it comes too far over the hips.OTHER: I really love the deep blue of this shirt.
