I grabbed these to keep tension on the choke of an old Honda 2HP outboard. Typically a detent in the carb locks the choke open but it had worn out. Resulting in the choke vibrating closed during normal operation. I hooked one end of the spring to a screw on the top cover of the carb and the other end to the choke keeping it open.The Honda warms up in about 15 seconds so I just hold the choke closed til it warms up and it's good to go!
