Recieved all parts quickly. I only had the Clevis Bracket that was attached to the Foot Piston broken. I decided to buty this set and fix the whole thing. Installation took about 20 mins, mostly because I had to bust off the piece on the square rod. I have to agree with one other reviewers that there is some slop when the bracket is attach to the square rod. Easily fixed with a cut piece of aluminum that went the length of the top bracket and fit in the 1/4 slot across the square bar. Tighten it up and no popping noises and applied some lithium grease to all pivot point. Recommend to anyone who may be apprehensive doing this don't be take some pictures of what it looks like before you stat and mark the top of the square bar with the foot rest closed with a sharpie. Move the foot rest up and down to remove the big clevis pin. Will wait till my wife's chairs breaks and do the same to her's. A $2000 chair assembled with plastic. Lazy- Boy should be ashamed for this lousy design. You think they could do better

This kit was easy to assemble and made the footrest on my power recliner work again. Price was half of a used part on Ebay. Directions were OK. Just take pics before you remove old parts. As others have said the hole did not line up on the part that sits on the cylinder. Hole was rotated on cylinder. Just put block on cylinder, install pin, rotate 1/8 turn until block is square.

A bit tricky to figure out but once that was done these parts installed in a short time. Took me two hours to research and figure out how the replacement parts are installed. Then it took thirty minutes to install the parts. A very nice kit of parts.

This review is an absolute knock against La-Z-Boy's terrible design and extremely cheap craftsmanship. A benefit is that La-Z-Boy warranties the mechanical parts for life, the drawback is you have to pay shipping AND then go pick it up at the store, about $20. La-Z-Boy never came through, so I came to Amazon and purchased it.Installation of the part is an epic pain in the ass. However, once it's done it operates smoothly and will last the life of the product. Looking at the metal replacement components compared to the cheap plastic that La-Z-Boy used and you can see why La-Z-Boy has become a cut-rate product.

Clever fix for cracked plastic recliner mechanism. Metal replacement, more durable than the original LazyBoy equipment. Also works around needing to take frame off by having a better way to attach the connector piece. Instructions could have used more photographs (same one provided on 3 different instruction sheets) to better orient how to install item. Saved hundreds on a repair - very useful.

Perfect fit to replace original (broken) plastic power recliner components. Very easy to install without having to peel back material and remove square mounting bar. Highly recommmend this product, installation friendly design, and aluminum components are far more robust than the original plastic components.

Easy to install after I looked at the first picture on the reviews. The recliner works perfectly. Long story short my sister was going to toss it. I took it off her hands because my father used to take naps on it. Now you can take naps at my house whenever he passes by. Took 15 minutes only because of my OCD. The component are great. All aluminum, I don’t understand why La-Z-Boy didn’t do it from the beginning.
