We work closely with our outsourced design and development team, to make sure our products perform as we intend to. We do this by first identifying the main goals of our new and prospective products and what features and problems it will resolve for the user. We then consult with our development team on possible designs that will meet the needs of the current market. When concluding with our product development team, we then decide if we should create a protype which will be unique in design and solve a need in with users. If the product makes the cut, then we create detailed instructions on the assembly and use of the product so you won’t have any problems when your product arrives.
We Take Sound Testing Serious.
Our instruments and studio equipment are sound tested by our hired sound technician. We focus on being competitive by offering the best offer, all while not sacrificing quality of sound. Since most everyone at our brand has an extensive musical background, we are very rigorous in the sound testing process of equipment. Additionally, it allows us to act quickly and communicate efficiently with our factories production manager on when we see a need for improvement. Before and after each batch run from the factory, our instruments are tested to confirm the quality, pitch and sound specs remain consistent from our previous production orders.

I bought the 10" Griffin a few months ago and love it, so I took a chance on this one. I've always wanted a metal snare, and prices of used vintage shells are driving up, so I figured this is an excellent start. I immediately disassembled, fine tuned the dampener action and angle, oiled (there was a decent amount of grease in the lug nuts already), thread locked the lugs on to the shell, reassembled the entire drum and put a Remo X14 head on it.I also replaced the bottom 12 (?!) snare wire ribbon to one with 20. That seemed like a bit of a bummer, and also that the throw off has a very small path for the ribbon connector (must be factory leftovers from a smaller snare). I use a plastic ribbon connector and had to cut and taper it down to fit the width! If you use string/wire instead you should be fine. If you don't replace the ribbon, your results will vary. I'm sure it's fine if you tune high and tight. The throw is not as nice as the one on the 10" Griffin, but it works fine.After tuning to medium low tuning and dialing in the dampener I immediately fell in love. Within a few hours of I decided to put it at a medium tuning and add a small moongel (well, window cling/sticky hand/etc.). It's excellent! My only gripe is the springs in the lugs can rattle easily, but that can be solved in various ways. I'm thinking I'll remove the springs and add a coat of Flex Seal to them.I'm very happy, this snare fits in all types of styles from jazz, 50s rock, 70s funk, 80s power metal, and more. I haven't even tried tuning it up yet!
