I know you're not supposed to be talking about packaging in reviewing, but considering these are two metal (and very pointed and rather sharp) yard signs/decorations, I think covering them completely and preventing any unexpected poking or prodding would be a bit better done. Unfortunately, the cardboard pieces these were wedged between were not quite big enough and stuck out at the edges. The two birds are unique and not exactly the same sculpt or size.The color is a bit too rust-colored, in my opinion. There's an aesthetic to this that I'm curious to see how it will stand up over the years to come in a yard.
