I really liked the gold finish and flexible material but installation wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Works well in smaller 12-16 inch strips, but harder to apply in longer pieces. Tends to crinkle and dent and nearly impossible to remove a readjust if application is not straight.

Ordered this to place at my door's bottom as a kickplate. Used old tin snips I had in my toolbox, but the material would not cut easily. Went out and bought new top brand aviation snips and still the cut was difficult with jaggy uneven results. The metal is 0.2mm thick but is quite tough to cut. So I was lucky to have a fine metal blade for my jigsaw and was able to do a clean cut with that. Make sure you wear gloves, the edges can be razor sharp.

I am hopeful this will save my exterior doors from kick marks, which require painting to clean up. The metal is easy to cut with the proper scissors and easy to install note: there is a plastic protective cover on the middle side of the sheets which should be removed after installing. My doors are from 1932 and did not have kick plates. These will help illuminate, damaging the wood and paint from pushing the doors open with dirty boots and muddy paws!

I really liked that this metal is a true brushed gold, it's not brass. I wanted to dress up the kick plate bottoms of some old cabinets and thought this would look great. The installation was a bit of a learning cure, I thought you would just cut it and tape it up....which you do....but I was not prepared for the difficulty in getting it to go on straight. It arrives rolled up pretty small, so when you lay it out it has a lot of curl still left in it. I was able to straighten in, but when I was installing it kept wanting to curl back up a bit.I ended up buying Tin Snips to cut it, that worked very well. It was a pretty straight cut, but not perfect. I'm not sure it you would be able to cut this with annoying other than a metal saw, if you don't have them. The instructions also say you need to handle with gloves when working with it, but they don't include any gloves.Once I had it sized, I peeled back the covering on the taped side and started to install. I had a difficult time getting it to go on in a straight line...It just kept wanting to slope down and because the glue was so strong you could not go back and lift it to reposition. I ended up ripping my first attempt off halfway through and tried again with a new piece and with somebody helping me. I think if you were trying to go over a really long area this would be even more difficult. Once it was in, it does look like it is going to hold well. I do like the look, but I am questioning if I will continue to a larger area, or just leave this as a bit of an accent. I also have noticed a bit of an imperfection in the middle of the strip I used, either from all the pressure it took to install, or something I didn't notice doing while cutting it. The material does bend pretty forgivingly. I would also Not recommend using this if your are going to need to cut and put two ends together, if you need a seam, it will look very obvious and you won't be able to hide it.

I got this to put on the bottom of a garage door that the mice were chewing their way through the bottom of. Application was easy after cleaning the door. Strip can be cut with a pair of heavy duty scissors. If the double stick tape doesn't stick in the future the strip is thin enough to staple through or add a few tack nails to hold it in place, but thick enough to keep the varmints from chewing it. I used the gold color so it wouldn't be as noticeable but it looks nice . It's almost ten feet long so I have enough to do a couple more doors if needed.

This Lunghaa Metal Self-Adhesive Kick Plate is good bendable thin metal. The adhesive is strong and holds. Once you bend it the dents are noticeable and permanent. I used it at the bottom of my kitchen sink cabinet and it is easy to work with using tin snips. It is thin metal and it will cut you so use gloves. The company has a warning right on top of the box to remind you to put on gloves. It comes in a roll and once you open the plastic wrapping it opens up quickly- unrolling- so be prepared to just let it go. Once it is up against a clean dry surface it stays so measure twice cut once. Moving it damages the look with dents or dings. It is protective and doesn't ding unless you bend it. So be sure you have it where you want it before you secure it for about 20 seconds. It looks good and it doesn't scratch. It serves its purpose and will be easy to wipe down and clean. It would be good on a door for dogs scratching to go out to protect the door but I would use a solid piece not 4" wide strips. The self-adhesive is a good idea . For a small project this is good but I am glad I do not need to use this on a large project. This roll came with zero instructions but it is pretty self explanatory.
