I have the smallest Harvest Right tray size, but this flat scoop is still the right width needed. I've seen other non-metal types of tray scoops or lifters, but always prefer the thin sturdy edges of stainless steel when I can acquire them. Even though I know I will need to use care when lifting small pieces to keep them from falling over the shallow edges, my intent is to push the items onto the scoop in manageable portions before lifting, which is still quicker than using my hands or my plastic spoon with one flat edge.This piece will be compact to store and easy to clean, plus no stain residues like plastic. It will also get used for scooping diced onions, potatoes, etc from my cutting boards to put into cooking pots on the stove (instead of using my hands and dropping pieces in the process). Or for lifting off larger cookies or dessert rolls after baking.It's a nice tool for a reasonable price, and will be used in MULTIPLE convenient ways for my food preparations. I like it, though I will use special care when hand-washing it to avoid any unexpected skin injuries.

This fits our trays perfectly and is an absolute must for someone that freeze dries regularly. The quality is great and it scoops perfectly. Can't recommend enough.

This food scoop perfectly fits the width of a medium Harvest Right. It makes scooping a breeze. It has a big surface area and it’s stainless steel, so its easy to clean. Not just for the freeze dryer though, I’ve used it to roast veggies in the oven. It saves hassle with that too. The only issues, which is honestly a non-issues, is the edges are a bit sharp. Not that they’ll cut you sharp but they could have been a little blunted. All in all, a great scoop though.

Works well for lifting the food off the trays and durable. Also used as a shovel to put the food in flexible tub to put into jars. Great tool.

I am using this with my large trays for my HR Freeze DryerThis is a great tool to remove product from he traysEasy to use and handle the product and get it where needed with minimal mess.This is easy to clean.It beats other tools that I have tried.Made for the width of the Medium trays and I knew that when ordering. It would be nice if an option was available for the width of the large trays. It's not something to downgrade this for, and it works. Just a comment.
