This exterior handle for a GMT400 isn’t metal like advertised, the lock cylinder housing is upside down, the lever that the rod connects to is the wrong shape and the original clips don’t fit. Avoid at all costs!

Good replacement piece but I kinda was let down when it wasn't all metal like the OEM but so far so good. The product is working very well.

This all metal handle fit very well , installing it remember to loosen latch assembly to allow handle lift arm to come thru door opening . there ya go a Lil help on installing it .

I had to try this part to replace the driver's door handle on my recently acquired 1995 K1500 Suburban with 220k miles. The truck had clearly nearly 30yrs and a quarter million miles of entry. One of the supporting bolt bosses had cracked off allowing the handle to pull out of the door when opening, but it still worked and so the previous owner never bothered replacing it. Well, it bothered me quite a bit and so ordered this part.I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality and the value for money. Installation is pretty simple. I'd buy replacement interior door panel plugs while you're at it (I did), since my door panel flopped around a bit too. There's several good videos on the Youtubes for guidance on how it all goes together. Take your time and you'll find it's an easy job. Quite satisfied.

Machen einen wertigen und robusten Eindruck. Kommen dem Original sehr nahe. Allerdings war ein Türgriff etwas verzogen bzw. verbeult, sodass die Klinke am Rahmen schliff. Da ich sie noch nicht eingebaut habe, kann ich abschließend nur sagen....bis hier hin echt top.
