My subwoofer is in a less than ideal location and with 2 little kids it was only a matter of time before 1 of them put their foot through it. I'm still going to discourage them from stepping on it but when they go ahead and do it anyways I'm confident this will be able to withstand them. Also it is high excursion unlike the mesh style grates (even the ones that claim to be)

Exactly what I was looking for. Doesn’t include hardware but Home Depot has #6 1/2” black screws and 5/32” black neo washers. Make sure you measure the width of your subs prior to ordering. I bought the 5 bar protector because 6 would have been too big. Happy with how everything turned out.

If you only have room on your box (like a Skar) to have the cover fit right along the perimeter of the sub, or you want that clean look, than this one is too big. Get the 10" for a 12" sub or the 8" for the 10" sub

These things are pretty beefy. They are a little big, but that's what I was hoping for because my subs have a nonremovable trim piece. The inside dimension is about 11.5"
