I’ve had several miter saws, single and double bevel and sliders. Good brands, Dewalt, Makita and Bosch. All those were good. My kids borrowed them and forgot to bring them back. I needed a new saw for my shop and since I’m an old dude, I picked this. REAL nice saw for the money. Nice and light. And a laser! Worth a look!

I liked my 12 inch Hitachi just fine, but at 50+ pounds, it got to be a little too much to load and move around. This 10 inch version does everything I need from it and weighs half as much. This is such a good design and has such a long service history that it makes me glad to still be able to get a new one.

A very nice machine. Cuts accurately. Very pleased with it. It also comes with a laser light which is a nice accessory to have. Changed the blade and as they say “it cuts like a hot knife through butter”.

We did a bathroom wainscott/shiplap and it was very easy for me to use as a first timer. Its has a laser and is safe and sturdy

This product has been used at a homeowner level and not a contractor level and for many hours. I've built numerous projects that this miter saw made cutting boards easy enough. Once set up (although it was very accurate upon arrival), and after hours of use, I find the blade does not need adjusting at all. It has held up for accuracy all this time.So, aside from being accurate, it is designed to be very safe. One would have to get quite careless to get hurt using it.I built a miter saw table, using this saw, and it's on lockable wheels. Whenever I want to use it, I wheel it into place and make my cuts.My brother-in-law, who has been a general contractor for decades, recommended this product and that recommendation certainly paid off.
