My husband LOVES these wool base layer. It's an excellent deal, he loves the socks and the hat, keeps him warm in the cold weather. Very comfortable. This is an excellent deal. I've had to wash these several times already, they come out of the wash well, I hang dry them with no issues even though it says not to hang them.

Very pleased with the whole set. Just as described 100% wool so soft, comfortable and very warm. Thin but definitely does its job of keeping me super warm. Washes easily just need to cool or air dry. The color is great for a base layer as well. Love this purchase!

This merino wool has absolutely no itch like some inferior brands. Wool is great in that it keeps a person warm when damp and controls odor (unlike synthetics that take on odor much faster). The down side of wool is that it can itch or be irritating. Unfortunately, most of the nonirritating brands of wool are very very expensive. So far, so good with Merino Tech. Another thing is that wool long underwear lasts years and become a good investment when the right choice is made.

The fit is true to size, the color looks great, and the thickness provides enough warmth. The fabric quality is also good, soft and comfortable. However, the only downside for me is that after washing, a lot of lint balls accumulate. I have to use a razor to remove them from the clothes. That’s the only reason I gave it a 4.

I have a had a lot of name brand Merino products, “Smart Wool”, and these are of the same or very similar quality. I can’t speak on durability, but the finish and fit of the garments is what you would expect from something twice the price.I wore them snowboarding and fly fishing in the snow for the last week and they kept me extremely warm.

Warm and Fit perfectly size medium on a 5’9” 168lbs male, Michigan resident.This was a much needed replacement to my thinner box store set. I got the mid weight and have worn them in the single digits with jeans and a mid-weight coat, I stayed cozy. It is soft with just a slight bit of wool scratchiness (this will go away with wear and a couple washing).I got the gift set of 4 pieces: top, bottom, socks, and beanie. The socks that it came with are very comfortable and kept my feet warm, which, is saying something seeing as my toes stay cold most of the time. So cold my toes turn white circulation issue. They are not 100% wool they have spandex in them for the stretch.The beanie is very thin and light weight, but does the job nicely. I would highly recommend this set to anyone.I am in mid-Michigan we do get into the negatives in the winter (especially when there is a wind chill). If your coldest days don’t go below 30 I would say the light weight with good clothes are good for you. But anything colder I would recommend the mid. If you are always negative for sure the heavy weight. I am also basing this on moving/being active and then standing for short periods of time, not just standing in the cold windy open.I hope this was helpful.

I ordered a size M which is supposed to be for Uk foot size 3 to 6.5. I am a Uk size 7 and they fit quite generously : if you have smaller feet I expect they would be too big.Otherwise they are cosy and soft and well made and make great walking socks.

These are very comfortable to wear and are not itchy at all. They keep my feet at a good temperature, not too hot or cold. They feel well made and great quality, I’ve worn them loads and they also wash well on a 30.

So soft and comfortable that you have to try to belief. When washing I put them in a net so they stay soft longer.

I ordered these socks as they are the style my husband prefers, but mainly because they are a blend containing 85% merino wool, so I was hopeful that they would be both warm and comfortable.When they arrived I was really pleased to see just how soft they are, although there was no label to say they were merino wool, I wasn't shocked as very few socks seem to have labels. I did have to look online for the recommended washing instructions for merino wool socks which suggest hand washing was the safest method, but I've risked them on a cool machine wash, and they survived without any problems.I'm reliably informed that they are the softest socks he's worn, and are really warm, as he mostly works outside that's a very big plus.Overall they are soft, comfortable, relatively easy to care for, at the current price of £5.99 they are also a bargain, and they fit my husbands size 9 feet very well, so I'm more than happy to recommend them.
