We read the reviews advising others about the weak point in the thumb joint, so we were very careful when putting them on or taking them off. We used them as liners for our mittens for a 2 week winter vacation in Alaska. They performed very well with respect to keeping our hands warm and being able to take pictures while still keeping our hands somewhat warm. But in spite of great care and caution, the seam between the pointer finger and thumb was not able to hold up even for just the 12 days we were on our trip. They still provided the main benefit of serving as the extra liner inside our mittens.

Nice mid weight gloves. My only complaint is that they shed. I wear them bike riding, and lint from the gloves accumulate in the crevasses of my handlebar grips, but worse is the fibers that get stuck in my beard when I wipe my face with them on.

Gloves are stretchy and comfortable. They are soft and warm. However, they are for walking or running. Nothing involving contact with rough surfaces. They catch on surfaces and the wool threads pull and tear out.

I've bought several clothing items from Amazon lately, pretty disappointed. Items were poor quality and did not come close to description.I have issues with my fingers getting cold and painful quickly, even with "supposedly" warm gloves. Research showed wool gloves protected best. These were not expensive and description sounded like what I need. When package arrived, opened box and found gloves seemed to be just what I wanted. This morning it was quite chilly, low 30's F and a cold wind. Perfect for test.Took dogs to park, went for a walk. Tip of one finger had some minor issues, but overall the gloves handled the conditions better than the big box of other "very warm" advertised gloves I've tried. They are thin enough to wear as a liner for very harsh conditions. They are very comfortable and material is thin enough so you can do many things without needing to remove them. I was able to put my flag up on the pole. At park i could clip leashes to my dogs collars. If anything stood out as a negative, the gloves grip is not great. I held dogs leashes ok as long as I got a fingers in the loop at end. By far, it is not a big enough issue for me to consider it a problem. I bought them for warmth, the wool material, and how thin they are. Many positives overcome the very small negative. Now we shall see how durable they are.

Comfy, warm, nice fit and work with touch screens perfectly. 👍

The gloves work as advertised. They fit well, they have good touchscreen functionality, and they’re warm. The problem is the quality isn’t good. They have lots of fuzz and pilling going on, and the seams between the thumb and index fingers of both gloves had a huge hole in them.

Keeps me warm even when wet up to -13°C. I use it with a pair of knuckle gloves.

I took these gloves on a two week road trip doing several nights of camping. They were warm, fit great, and the phone use was flawless. The cloth fabric will hold up fine with gentle use, but don’t expect them to last long if you’re rough on them (such as wearing these for a bunch of tasks around camp each day and night like I did). I had a hole forming in one of the fingertips prior to the end of my trip and would recommend considering leather or another material for a warm pair of working gloves.

Ordering online is often a gamble. However, I did measure my hands with a tape and the size I ordered fits perfectly. The touch screen finger tips are on both hands and both sides of the fingers; so no matter which way you put the gloves on they work. Generally good quality. The wrist cuffs are thicker than I expected. The palms and fingers are thinner than I expected. But these are meant as a liner glove and will work well with some sort of shell. As in themselves they are neither waterproof nor windproof. These are not work gloves.

Read the 1 and 2 star reviews as they are accurate. These knit gloves are nothing like they are described. I've worn them about three times just while driving to work and home, and the threading is coming apart. They are pilling. They are not insulated. They are not warm and they are not wind proof. I've worn them in temps in the 30s and 40s and they are not warm. I even doubt they are made from Merino Wool. The only accurate things in the description are that they are comfortable and touch screen sensitive.

I have Raynaud's, so my fingers and toes are always cold. I've learned merino wool works best for me to keep them warm. One problem I have though is I hate to wear gloves! I dislike the loss of dexterity and the hassle of using your phone or other touchscreen device. I find fingerless gloves work best. However, fingerless gloves don't work well when I'm out walking for exercise. My fingers get too cold. I've only worn these once, but here are my thoughts.Pros: *super soft* the fingers aren't super long so the touchpads are where they need to be (I have short fingers)* these are the BEST, most reactive touchpads I've ever had on a pair of gloves, very responsive* the cuffs are snug - I find that keeps my hands warmerCons: * I'll put it here too, the cuffs are snug (they left indents on my wrists, but that's common for me, they were not uncomfortable)* snagged, minor hole starting on first wear.Let me address the hole. I pulled them on hard as I normally have to to get the fingers down where they should be. As I said, I have short fingers. So the hole at the thumb crease that is developing (see picture) might be from that. I also noticed a snag just below the hole (see picture again). That may have cause the hole too, and honestly, there are so many things I could have caught it one simply getting to my car. I knit well enough, this doesn't bother me. I may patch it so you can't tell, or I may just close it with a needle and thread.Would I buy these again? Absolutely. At least once more because they kept my hands warm the whole walk and that's a feat! Plus the TouchPad are just too good.
