Awesome and very, very bright in dark settings. Easy sight picture to quire in daylight or bright light situations as well. I typically use Trij/Ameriglo but these are impressing me more and more with usage and for the $$ couldn't be beat. Battle-tested and Made in ISRAEL. These new versions just list the M - Meprolight logo on the side of the rear and front (no longer -- TRU DOT as in the past). A+ so far on these, they installed on my older Gen4 G23 easily.

Even though I waited an extended period of time I understand it's the pandemic to blame but the product itself is very good.

What a difference it made on my G17 just amazing. The fitting on the rear sight was slightly to big tried multiple times hitting it with the nylon punch and it just wouldn’t budge. I took the sights back out then filed down the dove tail just a little bit and after that it fit just fine with a couple of good hits with the punch. Overall an amazing product!!

These are my first set of Mepros and I like these better than Trijicons because of the flush fit protective "lenses" that keep debris out from the recessed tritium inserts, their better daytime visibility and the fact they were LESS than half the price! :DFor what it's worth: Trijicons are made in the US, Mepros are made in Israel and the Glock brand factory installed night sights are made by Meprolight. This review is based on the yellow rear/green front combo. It's a matter of preference but I would advise going with the same color scheme because night sights have one purpose: to acquire the target FAST, and in the worst two conditions: high stress/low-light "bump in the night" situations. Green is the brightest color to the human eye, BUT, in high stress, rushed shooting scenarios it IS possible to line up those three green dots wrong, i.e. "front, rear, rear", and it's that miniscule fraction of a second you CANNOT afford to waste in getting it right, so you need something to contrast between the front and rear. Since the next brightest color in the visible spectrum is yellow, a yellow rear sight simply makes sense and IMO, the best logical option.Installation was sort of a bitch, but not too bad.. Changing the front was simple, UNLESS you're a somewhat resourceful CHEAPSKATE like me who's used to getting around most obstacles without the proper tools and confident you won't need the 3/16" sight tool. In other words, I thought, "Pffft... I don't need that eight dollar thin walled socket, I can rig something". Well, I was mistaken lol. I'd advise just buying that front sight tool when you get the sights and spare yourself another few days of waiting for the tool to be delivered because you WILL need it. While you're at it, get some medium strength (blue) Loctite thread locker as well if you don't have any.FYI: For those that want to install these " by the book", the included Meprolight instructions specified applying Loctite 609 adhesive for the installation. I just used blue Loctite and everything's as solid as a rock though.Installing the rear into the dovetail slot requires patience. (viewing from the rear: proper installation and removal the rear sight should be done via the RIGHT side of the dovetail slot only, so orient the slide in your vice accordingly.) Your new Mepros should slip in easily about a third of the way right out of the box. As far as the rest of the way goes, you'll have to do some filing off THE BOTTOM OF THE SIGHT'S DOVETAIL ONLY. Do this gently and evenly, never taking off much steel while constantly rechecking fitment until it seems to go just a little further than that initial third of the way. Keep in mind that your goal isn't to make it slip in easily by hand because it still needs a tight fit, just not as tight as it is out of the box. Anyway, it took me an hour of filing and rechecking until it was ready to install. Now comes the scary part, aka, "hammer time!" Using ONLY a brass or nylon punch and hammer, knock the sight fully into the slot until it's centered by eye. I put a layer of masking tape over the brass punch's tip to minimize any potential scratching of the sight's finish.Shoot it, check your grouping, then adjust as needed.Anyway, this went beyond a simple review, but I realize a lot of people may want to do the installation themselves rather than bringing it to a smith and will likely find the process intimidating if it's their first time. I'm no mechanical engineer and managed perfectly so take that for what it's worth, but when these Mepros are installed, you'll love their brightness and have a great sight picture for both day and night. Nothing to dislike here at all, especially for under sixty bucks.Side note: For those that want a more friendly installation, consider some XS Big-Dot night sights. (it has the "dot the 'i' "sight picture) The kit includes all the tools and the rear slips right in to the slot and is held in place by a screw rather than the standard friction fit (no "hammer time!" needed). The XS are combat sights and less precise accuracy wise, but are much faster getting on target.

Installed on my Glock-23 Gen4. The front sight is super simple to install if you possess the skill set necessary to screw in a light bulb. However it must be noted that this installation requires a specialized socket - tool that is available for just a few dollars (NOTE: Spend the extra dollar and get one that is magnetized) . The manufacturer recommends Loctite-609 on this screw, but that product could not be found anywhere in my area, so I went with the Loctite Blue and have had no issues. The rear sight - While it *can* be installed using the hammer/punch method, it is NOT recommended. Since the sights contain ultra-small glass vials, it is possible to damage them (and void the warranty) with a hammer/punch. Since I was not willing to spend the $$$ to purchase the proper tool nor spend $$ to have my gunshop install the rear sight, I made a few calls to some LEOs that I deal with and BINGO - one of them had the tool and did the job in less than 5 minutes for free. The sights - These sights are not overly bright, but allow easy target acquisition in all lighting conditions. Each of the vials is ringed by white to make daylight targeting a breeze. It must be noted that there IS a slight learning curve if you are used to the the stock Glock rear sight having the white "bracket" around the sides and bottom of the notch. The rear Meprolight sight has *just* enough room to replicate this bracket with a little white fingernail polish - by someone with a very steady hand (I suggest finding a nail artist who is gun friendly and can paint the lines for you) Each of the tritium vials is sealed in place with a clear coating to keep cleaning to a breeze. The bottom line - Highly Recommended!
