I specifically chose this hat as I am a "backpack" traveler. I go to Europe often and rather than dragging a suitcase on cobblestone roads and over curbs, I backpack (Osprey backpack - very comfortable). To be successful, one must travel "light". This hat is super light - folds nicely - and provides a lot of sun and rain protection. My head is 23" in circumference, and it fits well. If your head is smaller, maybe not for you, but a larger head would work well too. I care more about "function" than style, but I think the hat looks good. Yes, it has a few "folds" when I take it out, but it's fine. Overall, I find it to be exactly what I wanted. Also,,it's not expensive.

Great coverage of the ears, face, and neck. Packs aways compactly and is very comfortable to wear.

Comfortable hat. Provides good shade on your face and face from sun. Only issue is it is slightly bigger for my head, but still useable. I wish there was a band around it to adjust size. It is light weight and can be easily folded and packed. Recommend it.

Bought this sun hat for my dad and he loved it, he says it is great quality and perfect for Florida weather, he wears it out most of the time keeps the sun away from his face and it’s super easy to wash. Definitely a must have!

I have a 22.5" noggin and after finding almost every other similar hat on Amazon to be uncomfortably tight, this hat fit comfortably. It is still a bit tight (if I wear it for more than 10 minutes, after I take it off I will have a mark on my forehead) but while I'm wearing it there is no discomfort. I think partly this is because it's made from a relatively lightweight material.That's the best I can ask for, and because the inner headband has a seam I'll bet I could easily stretch this hat if I wanted just a bit more room. (I like the frozen bag of water method for that.)Otherwise it's great: it really does breathe well at the top, the brim is nice and wide and protects my nose and neck and ears all at the same time even when the sun is not directly overhead, and although it is light it doesn't feel cheap.

This hat looks great. Bought for my husband who works in the yard alot. He says it is comfortable, keeps the sun off his face and it looks good to boot!

Most hats like this have a smaller brim but this one is nice and wide! Vented on top and the material is thicker than I expected at this price. Has snaps to fold up the sides too. Nice deep blue is true to the photos.

This hat is simply WAY too big. I'm a size 7 1/8 and this thing came over my ears and was STILL loose. There is no size adjustment cord in the back of the hat and additionally the neck strap is not detachable.I sent it back.
