This coat looks great, is incredibly light weight, very warm, the stitching is very well done, the zippers & pulls are also high quality. The fit is very good. This coat punches WAY above its cost/weight. If you are looking for a good winter coat, i would highly recommend this one. This is equally nice when compared to my very similar Columbia jacket.

Im really impressed with this jacket. The quality is very impressive considering i only paid 55 bucks. I took my Siberian husky/ shepherd mix for a good walk when the temperature was 21 below windchill. I was only wearing a t-shirt under the jacket and I didn’t feel cold. The hood is real nice plus it has a draw cord. The jacket also has two hem cords to help keep the cold air out. The pockets are really nice with good quality zippers. Buy this Jacket!

I am 5 11 and 188 pound, athletic build. My older jacket is a L and was no longer in great shape and a little to big on me.I got the M and it fits me like it was custom made for me. I wear it with a T shirt and one long sleeved shirt. keeps me warm in 32 degrees when walking the dog. lots of inner pockets and outer zip pockets. the sleeves have an elastic band that prevent wind from entering. looks moderns and is lightweight. love it.

I was not expecting to keep this coat when I ordered it. Really I ordered it because it was on Try Before You Buy, and I was just doing my due diligence, and I figured I'd try it on, not like the fit, and send it back and order a different one. It happened to arrive while I was at work, so I tried it on at work and immediately got a compliment on it. It is a great looking jacket. I love the small details like the bright zipper pulls on the gray coat. I also like that it is not overly embellished with logos. Just a small logo under the hood in the back.As far as fit goes, it is perfect for me, which I usually have a hard time finding. I am of very average build(5'9" and 150ish lbs), but for some reason a puffer always is a little short, or the arms are a little short, or it's too baggy. Not the case. The sleeves come down perfectly and do not ride halfway up my arms when I raise my arms. There is also an elastic "snow stopper" cuff on the inside of the sleeve a couple inches back. It feels a little tight, but ultimately I like it. It keeps the draft out and when you wear gloves, the cuff slides right over them. The torso length sits below my belt without riding up. It does not sag or droop, or look overly puffy, not does it look flat or "underinflated" as some others do. The hood is fine, if a little short...maybe.The jacket also has a great chest pocket and two inner pockets. I've not done it yet, but you can turn one of the pockets inside out and stuff the whole jacket in there for portability. Zippers move nicely. Jacket is very lightweight and warm at the same time. Our temps just dropped into the teens and I have not been cold in it yet. Durability-wise...we'll see. But I don't see anything to cause concern.If you're on the fence about a low cost puffer vs a high dollar brand, take the chance.

This is a very good jacket in terms of how much warmth it provides given its light weight. My only gripes would be its bagginess around the chest area, because it doesn’t sit flat and seems to be very puffy in the torso area unless I have some weight in the pockets. The other major complaint is the outer fabric. I’m an outdoorsy guy, but I’ve tried to be extra careful with this jacket, as the material is very thin. I’ve bought two of these jackets, and returned the first one because the fabric ripped the first day I got it and feathers started spilling. The second jacket I got also ripped the first day I got it, but I decided to just keep it because I could patch it up with a repair kit. Overall, the look and functionality of this product is very very good, and for the price you can’t find a better down jacket, but if you’re looking for something to go hiking in the woods with, be extra careful not to get the fabric stuck on literally anything.

Not one for writing reviews, but this jacket impressed me. This jacket is equal or better than far more expensive brands that I tried. Real down, lightweight, warm and true to size following the measurements of their size chart.Also, that it can fold up in its own pocket is very helpful for someone that travels a lot in and out of warm to colder climates. Pop in the travel bag and I will have always a warm wind proof jacket available when needed.

With the seasons changing I am again looking to upgrade my wardrobe. These days I stay out of stores and stick exclusively with clothing e-tailers that I have become accustomed to. One of my favorite e-tailers is HARD LAND. I have ordered many of their outerwear products and have been very happy with all my purchases.This particular hooded jacket seemed like a great purchase idea based on the fact that I expected it to be lightweight and perfect for hiking in fall weather. Of course, when hiking outdoors, the jacket needs to stand up to any sudden weather changes such as rain or wind. Based on the fact that I never got a bad product from this company I ordered the jacket blindly.What I first found quite amazing is how lightweight this jacket really is. You may not believe me when I say it feels as light as a feather, but that is absolutely the best way to describe the weight of this jacket. It's almost weightless. Yet, this jacket manages to keep me warmer than the outside temperature thanks to its down filling. I don't know how that is accomplished in a jacket this light, but it does a great job of trapping body heat.There are pockets everywhere to store personal items such as a phone, knife, wallet, keys, etc. There are three pockets across the front, 2 at hand level and 1 along the chest. Inside the jacket are deep pockets for keeping larger items. You could actually put your phone inside one of these pockets and run the headphone cord through the top to your ears so your mobile device remains protected.The zippers appear to be strong enough that they will survive consistent use.Though I have yet to be caught in a wind or rain storm, the attached hood has a drawstring that tightens the covering across your face to protect you from the elements.One thing I have learned from buying HARD LAND apparel is that their clothing tends to run small. Though I usually wear a medium jacket, I knew I should buy this in a large size -- and I am glad I did. The large just fits. I would highly recommend going up a size.The best uses for this jacket are during the fall and spring when the outside temperature is cool and you want to keep yourself snuggly warm during daily activities, camping, hiking, traveling. I would not recommend this jacket for winter use when the temperatures get in the freezing range.One more thing to mention...This is the first jacket I have owned that rolls up into itself for luggage packing purposes. You simply pull out the left pocket and stuff the rest of the jacket inside. It then zips up and you have a small footprint to throw into your luggage. I have attached a picture of what it looks like when packed.I have owned much outdoor apparel from HARD LAND. I consistently order their new products on Amazon and have yet to be disappointed by any of them. They really make great, quality clothing that stands up to others from more high-brow labels that cost so much more. I look forward to seeing what this company releases next as I continue to update my outerwear.
