I purchased the boots for my brother and when first put them on he said "They fit like a glove." They were shipped fast. And, he is really satisfied with the boots.

Loved these boot till I was hunting in 23 dgr weather. Not practical for cold weather hunting. Feet sweating in fall bow season, then froze in winter rifle season.

RATED THESE A 5 STAR. TRUE TO SIZE (FOR ME AT LEAST). NORMALLY WEAR A 9.5W ( E , OR EE DEPENDING ON THE MANUFACTURER). THESE ARE EE. Each boot weighs 31 ounces and 9 inches high. I'M PRETTY PICKY ABOUT THE FIT OF BOOTS AND THESE FEEL FINE. NICE CUSHIONED FOOTBEDS AND PLENTY OF TOE ROOM. EVEN WITH THICK WOOL SOCKS. Can't find anything wrong with the stitching or the soles. These are as good as any I've owned, many costing 3-4 times this price. A 12 inch shoe horn ( slipper spoon) with these (or any boots) will make the lining last much longer and much easier on and off. I wear this type of boot mainly for hunting season in the backcountry on 10 day to 2 week horse back hunting trips, either with a tent and woodstove or nylon tent and tarp lean-to and fire. The 400 gram (with membrane ) with the cordura side panels are used mainly for when morning temps are approx. 10 degrees F. (or above) and daytime temps above 20 degrees. The cordura panels allow the sweat to escape ( where all leather boots don't ). They still need to be dried out near a woodstove at night, or kept in the bottom of the sleeping bag if in a nylon tent. Don't let these or any boots with insulation freeze at night !!!!!! When the temp. drops to zero F. at night and teens in the day, we typically go with a different type of boot. Especially in snow over boot tops. (The snow doesn't let the sweat out very well.) Then we use a traditional pack boot with removable liners, (which typically weigh 44-46 ounces each), or the military mickey mouse boots (black) that weigh approx. 48 ounces. ( the insulation is sealed and sweat can't get to it.) Never used the 800 or 1200 gram insulation in this type of boot. ( did try 800 gram in an all leather boot and they didn't work out. the sweat doesn't get away.) If you are only away from the house for the day this would not be much of a concern. Any way these are pretty much identical to boots that we have had great success with and are very glad to get them !!!!!!! We generally coat all the seams with seamgrip or similar to protect the sewing. On this type of boot the lining in the heels is the first thing to wear out in our experience ( assuming you take care of the leather). Wool socks, greater than 50% wool) (or the military sealskin socks with a liner) seem to work best for us.We often wear gaiters with these also in snow and in brush. For the what it's worth department. Oh, and we ordered another pair !!!!

I bought these boots right before I was headed to Colorado. I spent a week in the mountains walking through snow and mush. My feet were never cold, nor did they ever get wet. They seem to work very well. I will say, using them in warmer weather, could be difficult as your feet will get hot.

I wear a size 15 and these fit great. My old winter boots had gotten too small and I love these. Work em for about a week and they are warm without feeling like a swamp, have good tread, and are just generally great boots. If you get on solid ice they'll still slip around but for most winter conditions I've found them to be very safe so far. I also love the high calfs on them so if I do fall I'm probably not going to roll and ankle.

I bought these boots to wear at work on colder days. Working as a trash man, it is hard to find a pair of boots that can withstand the use and abuse. So far these boots have held up pretty good. There have been a few days below freezing and morning in the teens and my feet have been comfortably warm. I have also worn these boots in some pretty good down pours and my feet have stayed dry. I will be buying another pair of these in the future.
