I was looking for a cool weather cycling jacket. Snug fit, but I liked it like that and is typical of what you see and expect in a cycling jacket. Excellent quality and value for the price!

Recieved this yesterday and rode with it today. It was low to mid 40’s (F).I wore it over pearl Izumi bib tights and a thin base layer.I appreciated the long zipper as I had to unzip a couple times due to the warmth of the jersey.I would guess this will work in the upper 30’s to low 4o’s by itself.I went with the large (5’ 10” and 176 lbs) and I like the fit.It is slightly loose. Loose enough that I can use it as a jacket. I will say any looser and I would have returned it for a medium. If I wanted a sportier fit I could have gone with the medium. My primary use will be for commuting, as such the looser fit works for me. I also appreciate the reflective elements on the sleeves and lower back. After a few days uses I wanted to update this. All the above still applies although I took a star away because the breathablity of it is pretty bad. 30 (f) ride with only a vest over it and I was sweat soaked by the time I got to work.

I've used products from all the major brands, and the most often compared is Rapha. I believe this product aims to emulate the Winter Pro team.I am 5'11" 80kgs or about 180pounds. Muscular in shoulders and chest for a cyclist, and 30" waist with a smaller stomach. The shoulders, chest and arms are a good fitment to allow room for a thicker base layer below. I had a sleeveless cycling baselayer, Long sleeve cycling jersey, and this jacket in 45F and was perfect. But, the stomach area bunches up substantially. Thankfully I don't really care because the jacket is only $50, but if the stomach were tightened up 2" (for a club fit) or 3-4" (for a race fit), this could be a direct no-questions-asked replacement for much more expensive competitors like Rapha. Some other interesting quirks are that there's a 'access hole' on the rear left side so you can access your jersey pockets beneath. I thought this was awkward at first but immediately agreed it was a good idea. The additional stitching on the sleeves are supposed to be reflective; I ride always during daytime and found them more fashionable and liked the look more than the function. There was no doubt the length in the rear was good; plenty long and had little grippers. Pretty well thought out design. After writing this review, its possible I just need to size down a size. I'm typically a 40" chest or so, or a medium in cycling jerseys.Edit: I had it at 3 stars but brought it back up to 4. I really do like the jacket, just wish the stomach area was tighter. I'm keeping it and just choosing that the tighter stomach area isn't worth an additional $200 (Rapha).

Great quality jacket. Windproof and warm. This is a great jacket at a fraction of the cost of high end designer brands.

I bought this jacket and the Gorewear C5 Windstopper at the same time to compare the two--i kept the Risebike jacket and returned the Gorewear jacket. On a 50%-off sale, the gorewear jacket was still more than twice the cost of this jacket. I've used the Risebik jacket in windy, 40 degree weather a few times now, with a light jersey underneath, and temperature was good. I think i could layer up and use this fine in the 20 to 30 degree range. I also used it in the rain at around 45 degrees today and it held up well. The jacket has a little stretch to it and seems to breath a bit from the black band under the arms and on the sides. I ordered a large and it is a good 'slim fit' for me at 170lbs / 6'0". I could probably use an extra 1" of length on the sleeves, which the gorewear jacket had, but that's my only complaint.

I really like this. The material is actually windproof and very warm while still being tight to the body and not flapping loudly. Not one but two zipping pockets is a huge plus for me. Fits very well.

the quality of the black part (underarm) is very low. After 2 days using the jacket (As like resting your arms on a table) the black material starts to deform. So you can not touch anything with it.
