Yah, hi dere. Aprons, y'know, hey? Well, OK then.Hi hosers, I typically employ a pretty rigorous formula to my reviews. My Apron reviews are usually based on 6 criteria: 1) Safety, 2) Hygiene, 3) Professionalism, 4) Pockets (I know, this is kinda dumb, but pockets are important), 5) Style, and 6) Comfort. Rigorous, hey? Yah!! Well OK then.I think I need to add an exclusionary property, dere hey? Oh ya?? YAH!! We'll what's that, hey? Oh, ya know, hoser,... it's: **7) Polyester!! Hey??**Properties, hey?? Yah:Polyester is: strong, durable, quick-drying, and resistant to chemicals, abrasion, and mildew. Yup. It's also easy to dye and blend with other fibers. You betcha. Yah...Well what are the uses for dat polyester stuff, dere hey? Yah, y'know, I'm glad you asked hey?Polyester is used for many, many, many things including:ClothingAccessoriesHome furnishingsFootwearHammocksTents and tarpsFlagsBagsBannersBackpacks...I don't see APRONS in de list, hey? No, hoser, dats de truth, hey? And why is that, y'know?Because polyester is not a suitable material for an apron, IMO. It can catch on fire. It can melt, hey? Oh yah? YAH!!! Well... OK then. YA. Trust me. When an apron melts on you this is a real bummer, ya know hey? It's not particularly absorbent. It's not protective at all.Oh no?YA. NO, hey?Well... OK then. What are the other materials that may not be great for de aprons, den, dere hey?I'm glad you asked, hoser.1) nylon, 2) acrylic, 3) polypropylene, 4) rayon (a semi-synthetic fiber), and 5) spandex. With melting points ranging from around 160°C (polypropylene) to 260°C (nylon and some polyester types) depending on the specific fiber composition, none of these materials on their own are great materials for an apron. But, dere hey, I look really, really, *really* sexy in my Spandex apron, ya know? Emphasizes all my curves in de right places, ya know??Oh ya??YA!!! ...Well OK, then. Dat's your call, hoser. But it doesn't sound professional, hey?Ya, we'll dat's true y'know, but de missus really likes it...Well OK then, use it in private, ya know, hey? What you godda do is create a "cotton blend" if you wanna create an apron dat capitalizes on some of the "space age" properties of synthetic fibers, ya know, dere hey? Otherwise you may come away with space age burns all over your body, where your 100% synthetic apron used to be, hey?Breakdown of melting points:Nylon: Around 260°CPolyester: Around 260°CPolypropylene: Around 160°CFor kitchen or laboratory use, a cotton-polyester blend is often the best choice due to its balance of comfort, durability, and stain resistance. If working with hazardous chemicals, consider using vinyl or PVC for maximum protection.... Well... OK then!!

This would be great for an everyday kitchen apron if you’re cooking a lot (more professionally) because it’s a very thick material. Very stiff fabric but works well. Has an adjustment at the neck and 2 pockets on the front.
