I am so glad this is a low profile lumbar support since too much support ends up giving me aches and pains in that area. I just need a little bit to support it and this one is just right. It allows me to sleep on my back which is great and difficult in general for me but can also be used for side sleeping.

This thing never recovered from its vacuum-packed state. It's been sitting out and breathing for weeks now, and it's still a crumpled mess. The foam just isn't stable enough to recover... which means it also isn't stable enough to be effective long-term, even if it didn't get vacuum packed.

Ordered this Memory Foam Lumbar Support Back Pillow for Sleeping - Lower Back Support Pillow for mainly my lower back/hip support while trying to sleep. I had a fall back in the spring and fell more on my right hip area. Since then, I haven't been able to get a full nights sleep because I wake up 2-3 times each night from lower back/hip pain. While recently shopping online for some type of supportive pillow or cushion for some relief and sleep, I saw this memory foam pillow that's low profile, and with curved low top. After reading about it and it's design, I ordered it. So glad I saw this pillow. It's a low profile design and curved from side to side over the top, but lays flat on the bed. I like that it's a nice and soft memory foam material and it sure gives me relief at night while trying to sleep. I still wake up some nights, but maybe only just once the whole night. I like that it stays in place as it's flat on the bed side.It has a zippered outer cover that is soft material and can machine wash and put it back on pillow.It's been a big help for me to get some rest at night, and that's a big plus in my book.I do recommend this support pillow as it's sure helped my situation and has given me some relief.Happy with order

I have some sciatica pain from time to time. When the pain acted up, nothing helped but temporary (pain relieving pills, massage, heated pad or blanket). This lumbar support pillow is pretty low profile, so whether it can provide any relief for you depends on your body shape, some will find it too low, others maybe too high. For me, it's comfortable if I lay on my back but not if I sleep on my sides (I am a side sleeper). So I tend to use this when I first get into bed, then remove it when I feel sleepy and ready to zone out. So, it helps me some, but does provide some support and pain relief when my back hurts bad. So try it. If it can provide any pain relief or comfort for you, it's worth your little money and effort of ordering this.

This pillow came wrapped up tight in a roll and I left it out to flatten out like a pillow and the foam never flatten out. Pretty garbage.

Due to a congenital issue, I have had 3 back surgeries and 8 of my vertebrae are fused. This makes it very painful to lie flat on my back. Unfortunately, there are times during some medical tests that that is what I need to do. I have tried using hand towels, pillows and other options, but they are usually too large and cause more pain for the opposite reason. This little pillow looked like it wasn't as big as so many that I tried, and since it's made of memory foam, I was hoping it would have the right amount of 'give' without the push back that you can get with too much or too firm padding. This was just perfect! I had to lie flat for part of my recent ECHO and it was the perfect amount of support without feeling like it was pushing back on my back. It was delivered quickly and was well packaged. It has a soft outer covering that zips off for easy cleaning. This will work great for laying down or behind your back while sitting on chairs with insufficient support. I highly recommend this.
