How to use:
The professional installation kit for GDEMU is an alternative to the memory card-based optical drive in for dreamcast console. GD-ROM / CD-ROM drives will inevitably wear out and malfunction (just like all mechanical equipment), and since consoles are no longer manufactured, it is almost impossible to provide spare parts. The project does not have any activity content, so it aims to provide a "one-and-for-all" solution. Installed on the game console, you can watch the installation video.

The SD card reader unit is too long, causing the SD card extender and reader to occupy the same space and preventing the base and upper section from aligning and assembling as shown in the instructions. The SD card extender and ribbon cable function alone, but the unit as shown and advertised does not assemble correctly and is not usable. Product must vary from one manufacturing run to the another or actual SD extender unit dimensions must be inconsistent.

Tried a bunch of custom solutions for the airflow.This one by far the best.Looks almost OEM.Takes a few tries to figure it out so I put some pics up how it should be set up

All I ended up using from this set was the memory card extension cable, cause the original one I had was way too long and I ended up ruining by closing the Dreamcast on the long extension cable without seeing it at first, so since everything else from my older set is already installed, I just needed the memory card extension cable from this set, which looks and works perfectly, and unlike my older memory card extension cable, this one isn't super long so it's a perfect fit and much harder to accidentally close the Dreamcast on it like I did with my older one.

If you’re doing the GDEMU mod to your Dreamcast, this’ll work just fine. Everything fit together just fine and worked with the GDEMU nicely. It’ll certainly look better like this than an empty tray.

Just needs a slight push to get things in place. Can easily be trimmed but it fits.

The design makes it so you almost feel you are going to break it while installing because of the placement of the sd card slot. The extra slot is pointless as you cant close the lid with one in it.

Despite being a clone this thing is compatible with everything I’ve thrown at it. Easy installation, comes with plastic standoffs as well!
