This pattern made absolutely no sense at all and was extremely difficult to sew together. The instructions were very unclear and had several wording mistakes that made it even more difficult to understand what the intent was. The template itself also didn’t make any sense, I found that many of the pieces didn’t fit together the way the instructions said they should have.

I just can't get the face to work right. I followed the pattern and it still looks like a rat instead of a bear

Terrible pattern. The pieces were hard to match up. The directions were impossible and hard to figure out. I have almost Completely my bear. As soon as I’m finished I will throw the pattern away. This needs to go back to the drawing board and be reworked. I would return it but too much time has gone by.

Love that the Pattern Pieces are made of plastic so they can be used over and over again…Happy with them..

This is NOT a 12" bear. I increased the size of the pattern pieces by about 50 percent and still got a 10" bear. The directions are minimal, and some steps are missing. I was able to figure out what to do, but if you are not experienced at sewing, you will be totally confused.

This pattern is a great quality and reusable. I'm accustomed to the old school paper patterns. Remember the ones that came in an envelope with the picture on it? Yeah, so to find a reusable one that will last is amazing all alone. It is easy to use, and I have been able to make several bears out of it, and I'm very happy. This is a pattern that you will have fun with and make amazing bears out of. It fits my needs perfectly, and I am very happy with it.

I used this pattern to make memory bears for my 8 grandchildren from my husband’s flannel shirts as a remembrance of their grandpa who passed in September. It was great working with the templates. I could do most of the cutting easily with a small rotary cutter. The instructions were a little vague in some areas, so I wouldn’t recommend this pattern to a beginner, but if you have some sewing experience you shouldn’t have a problem. I’m very pleased with how they turned out. I chose to embroider each child’s name on the foot. Then I bought a memorial patch to sew on the bear’s back. It was a Christmas gift to all of them and they loved them.
