We tried these out on two different windows 10 machines and neither of them liked them. I ended up going back and spending more to get the Sony ones, but the computers have no problems with them.

I got two of these and I have to say the slim disk package is cool. However, none of them work for me. I am using Nero 9 under Windows 7 32-bit. My HP laptop has a HP DVD/CD RW drive. I was first using Windows burner and it was not working. (cannot even write some file into it......not to say erase......) I then downloaded Nero 9 and tried on this new software hoping that I could get it work. The result was disappointed though. The only thing I could see is a circle of "dark mark" near the center of disks. So right now I have two Memorex discs with no data at all and cannot erase and try re-burn something into them. I point is not say this brand is junk but to figure out what should I do to make my disks work. Anyone who made this kind of Disk worked please let us know. Thanks.

I've purchased two packs of these turkeys over the past year or so and will never buy ANY memorex product again. I bought the first pack based on number of discs and price, and wrote off the poor quality as a fluke. This week I was more cautious--asked the Office Max salesman if in fact the discs were rewritable and he said that they were supposed to be. However, he's had similar problems and said if I had problems to bring 'em back for a refund.Well...I took 'em back for a refund. Once used, the two discs I burned were incapable of accepting new files and refused to delete existing files.Memorex is offering shoddy products that are clearly mislabled. Look at the reviews here: 37 out of 40 are one-stars!What else does anyone need to know? One hint I'll share: reportedly if you leave a defective Memorex RW disc in the sun for 15 minutes on a side, it might function as advertised. If I'd kept any of the trashy discs I turned in, I'd give it a try.

None of mine had scratches. All worked fine. 4x is a bit slow though.

I bought a box of these cd-rws before i read the other reviews, and believe me, i kicked myself. I've gone through about 4 of them, and so far have had only one gripe. when i tried to erase one of the disc, it wouldn't erase. I tried two different programs, but neither could do it. Other than that, i so far haven't had any problems. But to be on the safe side, buy a different cd-rw.

I wonder how many of the people who reviewed these disks even *considered* that the problem might be their drives or software?I've burned at least 30 of these disks in 6 different burners, by 5 different companies (Sony, Phillips, Acer, Yamaha, Lite-On). And for software, I've used the most recent versions of Easy CD Creator, DirectCD, Nero Burning Rom, Nero InCD, NTI Cd-Maker, and NTI FileCD. Not one problem.I've got 20 or so of these disks waiting for their turn, so I won't need new ones for a while. When I do, I might look for a better price, but I definetely won't need another brand or model.
