Membrane Solutions Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element
Residential Reverse Osmosis(RO) systems are widely used to provide safe-to-drink water for families. As the main filtration stage of the RO filtration system, MS RO membranes deliver consistent performance for all users with advanced membrane technology and automated spiral-wound fabrication.
MS RO membrane elements, NSF/ANSI Standard 58 certified, have a high permeated flow while keeping a 99% TDS removal rate, and stabilized salt rejection rate by 97%. It can efficiently remove contaminants like heavy metals including primary fluoride, calcium, magnesium, lead, colloids, chromium, and nitrates, as well as organic, rubber mass, harmful minerals, and another soluble salt from water.

Important Information
- It is recommended that systems using these elements rinse the elements for 24 hours, prior to first use, to meet NSF/ANSI 58 Standard.
- The first full tank of permeate must be discarded. Do not use this initial permeate for drinking water or food preparation.
- Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting.
- To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution. Rinse out the preservative before use.
- The membrane shows some resistance to short-term attack by chlorine (hypochlorite). Continuous exposure, however, may damage the membrane and should be avoided.

Great product for an affordable price. It will definitely save money compared to your local lfs for reefers. Out there looking for membranes for that rodi system named after an aggressive fish.

Standard 50gpd membrane, fit standard housing and was easy to swap out. Appears to be doing it's job. After 1 week of use, TDS is measuring 4.5ppm on a 5 stage system with an additive final stage. Haven't measured right after the membrane, but I suspect it would be even lower.

Quality product, arrived on time and in good condition. Easy to install. After flushing new membrane several tankfuls, good quality water. Testing confirmed tds of less than 20 ppm from a water source of over 425 ppm . Good value, good tasteless water. Would recommend

I recently purchased the Membrane Solutions Reverse Osmosis Membrane 50 GPD for my under-sink RO drinking water purifier system, specifically for my Olympia water filtration system. It fits perfectly and works flawlessly with my setup. The water quality has noticeably improved since I started using this membrane. Installation was straightforward, and I'm impressed with how well it filters water, ensuring clean and fresh drinking water every time. Highly recommend it

Bought this RO Membrane filter for my iSping 5 stage RO water system to replace existing RO filter. This should last about 2 years. I installed it on Jan 6, 2024 and by end of February it was already non functional. It was so bad that it would take all night long, with booster pump running (and undue wear and tear on booster pump) and only produces about 2 quarts of RO water in the reservoir tank. On top of that it was a TDS of 134, far from what it should be compared to what the tap water was.I bought to save a few dollars. I ended up in first part of March 2024 buying the RO filter made by iSpring (aka 123filter) put that filter in, and immediately the system started functioning properly. Filled up the 3 gallon tank in about 2 hours. Pump then shut off. RO water is now around 32 ppm TDS and tastes great again.Bottom line: bought to save a few dollars, but instead had to buy another RO filter too soon, so since it was past the return window of 30 days, is now just a bad investment.UPDATE: Company reached out to me to resolve the sanctification issue. So I came back here to change the stars and would say that it might have just been a faulty (defective) item from the beginning.
