I love melon and was excited to give this a try. It worked great on a cantaloupe.I don't know that I needed 2 but I guess it's nice to have a backup.Recommend!

Very nice 2-pack of melon tools. I got this primarily for watermelon (the baller works great) but the other tools work fine. Makes breaking down a melon very quick and easy.

This easy to use stainless steel 4 in 1 fruit tool set is perfect for digging out the pulp from any melon, as well as carving fruits etc; and comes in a set of two. It is made of sturdy, heavy duty material capable to wash in dishwasher. Love the colors of each. Worth its value.

The concept of this is awesome however the quality of this one is lacking. The material is very flimsy it bends and feels like it's going to break when in use. Melons are big and strong so you need something that is heavy duty to actually cut, roll melon balls etc and this one can do the job but you have to be careful with it since the material is flimsy.

This truly is a multi-purpose "must have" kitchen gadget! I like that it has multiple uses and it is easy to clean and store. I appreciate the design and colors which makes it more fun to use! I can serve up a fancy fruit bowl to my guests!

I'm going with this 4 in 1 fruit prep tool is a good idea, but it is weak in the execution area.Flimsy feeling, there needs to be a good grip and solid feel, not bending and flexing, when cutting through the skin or into the flesh of most fruits. Short of items like peaches, figs and alike, for which you wouldn't need these tools, there isn't much that I found that these tools would work better with, than use of a knife and spoon, and being okay having rectangular rather than round fruit pieces.The scraping tools felt awkward as the de-seeding area size is as varied as the individual fruits themselves, and there wasn't a way to adjust the scraping edge other than to grab up higher on the metal portion, which defeats the purpose of a tool with a plastic handle.Other than a melon baller for visual appeal and texture, which does affect taste, I'm going to stick to it and see if I can get better at using these tools, or stick to knife and spoon.
